Elderly woman missing from Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY – A 77-year-old woman is missing out of Fayette County.

Fayette County Sheriff's deputies are searching for Iris Doss, who's been missing since 7 p.m. Saturday evening in La Grange.

Doss was last seen at a Wal-Mart driving a white 2008 Ford Explorer with a Texas license plate 91VZL8.

Doss has gray hair and blue eyes, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red t-shirt with horizontal stripes, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Deputies said Doss suffers from a cognitive impairment and poses a threat to her health and safety.

FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas -- The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is searching for Iris Doss, a woman diagnosed with cognitive impairment.
 
Deputies said Doss suffers from a cognitive impairment and poses a threat to her health and safety.

If you have any information into Doss' whereabouts, contact the Fayette County Sheriff's Office at 979-968-5856.

I haven't seen any further articles or updates in this case since the initial ones on June 7th, 2015.  I checked and she isn't in the Texas Dept. of Public Safety Database:

I hope that's a sign Iris Doss has been found safe.
