The Canton Police Department and the Missouri Highway Patrol has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for missing brothers, 8 year old Draven Tate  and 6 year old  Zack Allen Tate. The two brothers have been missing since June 21, 2015 from Canton, Missouri.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated that Draven and Zack Tate disappeared from their home about 1:30 AM Sunday. The two boys are believed to have been taken by their father, Kyle Tate, 28. The father is believed to be armed with a gun. and headed Oklahoma. Kyle Tate has made threats against the children and their mothers.

If anyone has any information or sees the missing persons, suspect, or vehicle, please contact immediately the nearest law enforcement agency by dialing 911 or call the Canton Police Department at 573-288-4412.

Kyle Tate has made threats to harm himself and the children. He has also made threats towards their mothers in Hannibal, MO and in Clinton, OK.

The three are believed to be traveling in a Silver 2001 Chevrolet Impala with Missouri plates, KJ2M8H, which was last seen in Hannibal, MO at approximately 3:15am Sunday morning.

Kyle Tate is a white man, 6’1”, 220 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Missing Canton, Mo. children safe in Kansas, father arrested

CANTON, Mo. (WGEM) - The Canton, Mo., Police Department canceled an Endangered Person Advisory early Sunday afternoon after they said two children believed to have been taken by their father were "recovered and are safe."

Police said Draven Tate, 8, and Zack Allen Tate, 6, were reported missing in Canton at 1:30 a.m. on Father's Day, prompting police to issue the advisory.

Officers believed their father, Kyle Tate, was armed with a gun, after being involved in a domestic disturbance involving a weapon in Canton.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m., police canceled the advisory and said the children were safe. According to Chief Ryan Crandell, the two boys were located in Kansas and are currently in protective custody.

Crandell said Kyle Tate was arrested and taken into custody in Kansas. The chief reports Tate is being held there, pending formal charges in Missouri. The nature of those charges were not released.
