Do you think that Natalee would have looked twice at either of the Kalpoe brothers? They only way there could have been any physical interaction would have been if drugs were involved and against her will.

Leslie, why do you say that?

Because they are ugly.

hmmmm..anyone notice how upbeat BHT seems tonight??

And how do you want her to act?

well, smartazz, its not that i want her to act any certain way..i just felt that she was more upbeat than usual...wondered if maybe she may have learned a little more today that could not be spoken of...something that may make her feel just a wee bit better about things.....satisfied??

I thought the consensus was that Deepak was 21.
Odd.

Just my opinion and this has nothing to do with how deeply sad I feel about Natalee - but I saw 2 parents tonite and the one that totally irritated me was the stepdad - he just seems like the cowboy here - I mean at 3 a.m. he is trying to interrogate them - I understand that they wanted answers but come on - and I am not a lawyer but my little experience in dealing with the law is I would tell any of my children to SAY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I don't care what the situation was - and can you even imagine the problem it would cause if the VDS went out looking for Natalee - I mean come on - the media would have a field day - they would only be followed and it would be very worthless -

OK I have not taken sides so to speak, but By God if this was my daughter I guess I would be considered a cowgirl, because I would leave no stone unturned. If this was my son, and I have one who is in Iraq as we speak, I would ORDER him to talk to the parents of a girl who came to my door in the middle of the night saying he was the last known person with her. I would MAKE him tell what he knew.......no if ands or buts, and if it incriminated him, then I would deal with that then.

thats why kids are spoiled and bratty. Parents love to cover their butts when they should be teaching them to tell the truth...

If she drowned where is the body?

If she drown, in the ocean, you think Joran is going to swim back out, at night, and pull the body in?

Hmm.  If the moon is high, you could see well enough (if it wasn't too deep) to pull someone back in.  I used to night dive in Caribbean without a dive mag (light) so it's feasible. But apparantly maybe he didn't or couldn't  find her if that's the way it happened....

Where are her clothes then? I highly doubt she went swimming in a denim skirt, shoes, etc.  IF that were the story (not that I think it is) then at best he could still be charged with concealing evidence, but an accidental drowning shouldn't cause him concern in a court of law.

Another poster mentioned some detail from the alleged Deepak note about seeing the sharks.  I gotta tell you, having dove at night, those bad boys sneak up on you like cats when it's dark...

An incident purported to be from a questioning session with Joran, Satish and Deepak all present was interesting. It was reported that Joran was asked what happened after being dropped off at the beach with Natalee and he ultimately said he called Deepak to come and pick him up after an hour. Deepak interjected, "Why are you lying," and immediately Joran changed and said it was Satish who picked him up.

I think she is brittle and the kind of hyper that is just how you get through things.  I did not see her as upbeat in that sense.

The guys are just tearing all the parents apart and it is time to really tell the truth.
