Gaijin, Nikkibnurse, and UGAmom:

Troll = You don't want to hear it. Now there's a grown-up attitude.

Showing your true colors w/ that post gaijin, which is why I love you, even with your threats of physical violence ag/ posters you don't like. Out of other side of your NY mouth, tho, you encourage decorum and civility. Sounds like you've got some issues, dude, and I don't mean last 3-months' collection of "Cat Fancy." Tho that's a possibility also, given your thin skin.

Wake up to diversity. It's a beautiful world if only you can let go of the hatred and closed-mindedness.

Hang in there gaijin. I really do miss our chats. Had initially adopted you as a big-brother, what with all your cool new yawk tough-talk. I'll bet you even have a torn leather jacket that you wear all the time. Am I right? Thought so.

One more thing gaijin... Hey, my man, if you had a denim coat, would they call it a Gai Jean-jacket? Okay, I admit, you're still aces in my book. You da bombest, as that one lady on SM says.

God bless.

You have to admit this Joran Van Der Sloot is one cool customer. If we are to believe he killed Natalee. Look at his immediate actions.

1. He shows up at school the next day and brags about having sex with Natalee.

2. He's back at the casino the next night gambling.

3. When the Twittys show up he was willing to talk to them, it was his dad and Deepak that kept saying "don't say anything"

4. He tells his mom that prison isn't so bad, and that when Natalee shows up he's gonna kick her butt in front of Beth because of all the trouble she's gotten him into.

For a 17 yr old that just comitted a murder? This guy is rock solid. Rolling Eyes

Inspector, I have to concur.

If you conspired to cover up a crime together the curfew the next night with mom out of town and finals over are of little consequence

Finals weren't until four days later. Started on Friday 6/3.

The one who said that people who got out of control and buried a victim mostly did  this in their own backyard(can't find it back since we are moving so fast)...If those dogs searched the area at the VDS home, they would have found something I guess, and I would think that in most cases you are afraid someone saw you when you entered the house with the victim too, and you wouldn't get rid of the victim in your own backyard, but somewhere far away..Just my opinion.

I didn't say it quite the way you put it.  Funny how a slight change in wording can effect the meaning of a statement, isn't it?  I meant that it seems that many criminals prefer to hide evidence, including bodies, in places they feel are their territory or "private."  There is much more possibility of someone seeing you with the victim on a public beach or road than entering a private residence at 2 am.  And the reality is that  115 pounds of anything is difficult to move and dispose with any degree of privacy.

well isn't it possible that an area close, but not immediate to the VDS home is possible. Some think so, like the poster on another board who indicates it was in the dump.

It sounds like this would be a good time to change the suspicion items against the Kalpoe brothers from murder and kidnapping to obstruction of justice or whatever the Dutch equivalent is, and sentence them to 100 hours of community service and let them go home to their families and prepare to spend the next year or so of weekends running errands and planting floral borders for elderly people.

We had been speculating that the night they got there, when the Dad took them away to a casino--that Joran was never at that casino, but perhaps at the house the entire time.
Ok. ty Speculating that pops sent the fam on a wild goose chase.

In my opinion.. I would think that a mother could very easily tell when their child is lying..!

Not always.  I have a son that can lie with the best of them and he is only 12.  Kids with personality disorders and some other things along that line are MASTER manipulators.  My son can do something in front of you and then tell you he did not do it and make you believe him.  He lied to his mentors face the other night.  His mentor works in level three group homes and knows lots about these kids and he had the mentor believing everything he said.

Of course when he does tell the truth I don't beleive him now.  So a skilled liar can pull one over on anyone.

I don't beleive she is covering up too much because I don't think Joran or Paul would have confessed anything to her. They both would protect her I feel.

Where did we learn 1.2. and 4. ?? This is the first time I've seen these things -- especially presented as 'fact.'

I felt for her very much.  She is a mother that loves her son.  She believes in her son, or wants to believe in her son.  The same we would all do for her children.  I don't believe that she knows anything.  I think she was given a story by JVSD and PVSD and she believes it.

I wish that was true! Some people, teens are such great liars! And a mom wants to believe them - it hurts to know that she can't trust. ANd the teen does not want to hurt mom. It's a vicious cycle.
