Obama Cites Scripture To Defend School Bathrooms Rule

President Barack Obama defended his decision to open up bathrooms to students of both sexes based on preference, citing his religious faith as a reason he decided to do it.

 

“It’s not like I woke up one day and I said, man, you know what we really need to do is let’s start working on high school bathrooms,” he insisted, saying he was already more focused on ISIS.

ME : Obama reminds me of a desperate criminal with a Bible in the courtroom. IMO What sane person picks on children's bathrooms and WHY? What favors does
owe to the LGBT?

To quote, Diane Dimond,  "Perhaps the best statistic to focus upon comes from a 2014 survey of millennials by the Public Religion Research Institute. That survey found 1 percent of young people identify as transgender."

President Obama is making a federal case out of 1 percent of transgender children?  Obama wants to penalize States for not adapting to his screwball Transgender bathroom policy. It is so scary to know he has been in charge for seven years. I did not know he was a fruitcake. IMO

Where, for example, does the U.S. Constitution even remotely allow a president enthroned in Washington to dictate the bathroom policies for transgender students in a school district 800 miles away in McCracken County, Kentucky?

That issue is at the crux of Gov. Matt Bevin’s decision that Kentucky should become the 12th state to join a federal lawsuit against Obama’s bathroom guidelines, which include threats to withhold federal funding from school districts that prohibit transgender students from using the bathrooms, locker rooms and other facilities of the biologically opposite sex, and which fail to address transgender students by their preferred names and pronouns.  Read more...

In what it’s touting as a national first, the New York City Commission on Human Rights and Mayor Bill de Blasio announced a new citywide ad campaign on Monday designed to affirm the right of transgender individuals to use public restrooms consistent with their gender identity. The effort, which is organized under the title “Look Past the Pink and Blue,” will comprise print and, later this month, video ads featuring transgender New Yorkers. The ad text—“Use the restroom consistent with who you are. In NYC, it’s the law. No questions asked.”—reminds readers that gender identity has been a protected category in the city since 2002, a fact the commission underlined by issuing specific enforcement guidance on the matter in December. Money does buy love to the LGBT community, it also sells-out women's rights and privacy, to the LGBT's. I voted for Obama the first time he ran. 
I trusted him, and this how he pays the innocent voters, who could have and should have voted for Romney.  IMO
