Police: Missing UMD Student Kaitlyn George Spotted In Baltimore
November 13, 2016 10:30 PM

University of Maryland police say in a statement at 4:44 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, George got into a white taxi cab, alone, and of her own accord, in front of Annapolis Hall on the college campus. Investigators then located and spoke to the taxi cab driver, who say George was taken to Baltimore City. The driver told authorities that she was dropped off in front of a Marina in Federal Hill.

UMPD investigators report they are working with the Baltimore City Police Department to review security footage from the Marina. Since their communications, security footage indicated that just after being dropped off by the taxi cab, George appeared to get into another waiting vehicle on her own accord and by herself.

In their statement, UMPD say at around 8:40 a.m. on November 11, a witness reported seeing George on a Baltimore Charm City Circulator bus. Investigators interviewed this witness and verified this sighting.

“Investigators continue to follow up on investigative leads and tips,” said the UMPD in a statement.

Well, she's 21 and is free to do what she wants, but not contacting anyone is just wrong. Hopefully she is safe...where ever she goes.

Missing UMD Student Kaitlyn George Found Safe
November 16, 2016 5:06 PM

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — After nearly a week, University of Maryland Police says that missing UMD student, Kaitlyn George has been found.

Police say the 21-year-old college student has been located in Houston, Texas.

UMPD says that the Houston Police are reporting they have located Kaitlyn George in a McDonald’s parking lot, and is now being hospitalized.

University of Maryland Police received word from the Houston Police Department, just after 8 a.m., Wednesday morning.  Investigators are trying to figure out why the student suddenly disappeared.

“I’m happy to know she’s found but it still feels an unsettling feeling of why she left,” said  said Daneil Baugh, University of Maryland Sophomore.

Houston Police tell WJZ that they received a call Wednesday for a person in distress. That’s when they found her at a McDonald’s parking lot.

“Kaitlyn was by herself and is okay. Thank you to everyone who assisted in locating Kaitlyn George,” said University of Maryland Police in a statement.
