Yesterday someone posted on the front page that they wish Scared Monkeys had a Boycott Aruba t-shirt for sale at Cafepress.  So I put together this rough draft to see what you guys think.  Red said they may be able to work out something so proceeds go to Beth's foundation.  Anyway, what do you think? We would also need Beth and Dave's approval to use Natalee's photo. The front of the t-shirt would have the SM Logo.

I love this Klaasend. Please, let me know if and when they get this made so that I can order a t-shirt.

Also, just a suggestion...
Could the money go to Dave's trust fund instead of Beths? Dave's trust fund is lacking compared to Beth's. Or maybe split half to Dave and half to Beth.

God bless~

I love the shirt I would buy one, Be nice if money could go for search fund to get TES back down there

Joran says in that statement that in the poker tournament each player was given $500.00 of fake money to play with during the game.  Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?  Is that a translation issue?

I've heard of it, Easy ~ they do that all the time in Vegas...

And then the winner of the tournament either gets a cash prize ~ or they can even be paid in chips that have no cash value...  chips that are to be played in the casino...  say like $50,000 in no cash value chips...

The winners of these tournaments will then play at the regular gaming tables with these chips ~ if they lose the hand, they lose the chip ~ if they win ~ they are paid in regular casino chips that DO have a cash value ~ and can be cashed out at the cage for US$ ~ there's a possibility of making a higher doller amount than was won in the tournament...  or a possibility of making only half the amount ~ or whatever...

After reading through Joran’s statement, I can almost close my eyes and picture what was taking place in that car.  Natalee passed out from the drugs she was given at C-n-C’s, Joran’s evil grin as he exposed Natalee, laughed and told the brothers to take a look and then the feverish frenzy enveloping Deepak as he speeds past the Holiday Inn and toward the lighthouse.

Natalee waking long enough to realize they were not near her hotel, feeling vulnerable and telling them they better take her back to the Holiday Inn.

Easy - I'm wondering if she tried to get away from them at the Lighthouse area and ran towards the Rocks?  Is that where she dies?  Then they drive towards the Fishermans Huts and hide her body there temporarily.  Paulus later comes or has someone come and move her body.

That was my immediate gut conclusion to what happened that night, Klaas...

Heh, Heh, maybe 'funny' money aka money laundering?

Maybe so, because I have never heard of fake money being used in a poker tournament.  I thought people had to buy their way into the tournament and bring a certain amount to the table.  I've also never heard of someone giving their seat away during tournament play.  Most people would protest something like that.

No way it was fake money casue Joran also said that he won back 100$ for Natalees friend and before leaving they went to cash in their chips.  He just put that in there so they wouldnt have a case against a minor being allowed to gamble in that establishment.

Oh I like that idea too, Sue. Funds sent to TES to get them back to Aruba to search the deeper waters.

Great posting & reading today all ~  It was good to re-read Viet Vet's posts again and everyone's analying has been superb.  I do like Jug too..a real man and he should never have been maligned as he has been, nor the rest of Natalee's beautiful family, not to mention Natalee herself.

Truth will out and justice will prevail...Americans never give up.

I like the Tee shirt design too.

Yeah this is after they kidnapped and raped Natalee then leaves her at the beach at some drop off point and leaves to never see Natalee again and not knowing where she is...because he "knows" someone took her but doesn't know "who" because daddy Paulus or one of his friends took care of that end.

Mostly lurking today but wanted to say Hi Monkeys and tell you the dream I had .

We were all on the discussion board posting and watching a 24hr/7days coverage of j2k+ in aruba and nl. We were all commenting on how they were all aging before our eyes, almost like rioting.

Then things slowed down and we were OT and joking when someone brought our attention back to the coverage. There, on the sidewalk was this eerie, strange dark clump on the side walk. Aruban and dutch people walking by were spitting on it, kicking it, threatening it. It looked as gross as a pile of rats scurrying over each other as they frantically devoured something.  This thing was moving down the side walk. It was horrible, frightening. It was pure misery. We kept watching it and were speculating what it was. Then we all realized it was jurin. The camera panned back and there were other miserable vile clumps on this street, they were anita, paulus, deepak, satish, koen, jacobs, freddy, vanderstraaten, julia. They were all terrified, fighting w/ each other, wailing, and begging just to survive. We all gasped collectively.

Wow! What a powerful dream! And apt!

Guys, the prayer chain starts tomorrow night at midnight. I have several key slots still open and I have to work all day tomorrow, so it'll be hard for me to monitor the spreadsheet...

Here's what's left:

3:30-4 am
8-8:30 am
3:30-4:30 pm
11:30 pm- 12 am

Please look at your schedules and lemme know if you would like to fill one of these slots. I'll see if Klaas can post the spreadsheet in a little while...

In the meantime, you can go here to see the schedule and/or to sign up...I think the family needs our prayers now more than ever!!

I think she found herself at Joran's apartment, but somehow the area around the lighthouse is important.  Joran says that is where they went and then he says they never went there.  The area is significant.

From Joran's June 10th statement:

To your question as to how many girlfriends I have, I answer you the following. I only have one girlfriend and her name is "Florencia METZ". Before I had "Elaine" and before that "Carmen JACAPOUCHI" And she works in the Hospital and at the moment if Freddy's girlfriend. I have been having girlfriends since I was 14 and her name was "Jillian JOHNSON" and she now lives in the States. Her father had built the "Marriot Hotel" and she and I were both enrolled at the "International school". I also had a girlfriend named "Melody GRANADILLO". I have had five (5) serious girlfriends in total since I was 14.
So Joran used to date the daughter of the man who built the Marriot in Aruba  Shocked

Deep in my thoughts I see this confused, crying girl struggling to get away while Joran laughs and Deepak gets angry.  Torn clothing, tears, screams for help and then silence while the three jokers laugh about their conquest.  Then one of them notices she is no longer breathing.  Panic ensues and a desperate call was made.  Not to the police, but to a judge-in-training.

This is a link to an article in USAToday and this Grossman who wrote it says that Aruba has had one murder in the last twenty years.  I have already written to him protesting that statement but the horror of it is he made it apparently speaking to a group of travel agents!!

Please write to Mr Grossman if you feel so inclined and request that he correct this horrific disinformation.  Here is the article and his email address is at the bottom of the article.

I am so angry he did this I am going to have to take a break. . . . .

.

Thank you, Anna, for this link.  I do hope that Easywriter, AzLady, None and others will write.  I certainly intend to as soon as I get over being mad about it.  I cannot be articulate when I am this mad.

No, Tyler, I didn't mean for anybody to write unless they feel personally motivated to do so.  Obviously, lots do not but the boycott is all we have going for us right now that is really working.  I just hate for some jerk like this to cancel our efforts with statements that are just not true like this one.

The boycott is real and it is estimated at twenty percent reduction in tourism so we are succeeding in this regard and I am just reluctant to have it taken away from us if I can help it.  I'll fight for out every way I can.

No judge's signature on anything is going to give the State of New York subpoena power in Aruba.  One state does not even have it in another state here within our own country.  For a civil matter, Alabama cannot subpoena somebody from even Georgia to testify in court.  Doing so in a foreign country is just totally not going to happen, sadly.  I wish as much as anybody that there would be a real day of reckoning in a court of law but we couldn't do that state to state let alone in a sovereign foreign country.  If the Sloots did not default, conducting a trial without actual witnesses could give a verdict the opposite of what we would want anyway.
