CORINNA, Maine (WABI) A Maine family is searching for their father who has been missing in Florida since September 9th.
We're told Maine native Matthew Prise is schizophrenic and has heart issues.

Family members say he last checked in with them from a hotel in Marathon, Florida before Hurricane Irma made landfall.

They say they've been trying to reach authorities for help, but have had no luck.

Katrina Prise, the daughter says, "We have reached out via Facebook to everybody that we can think of. We are just really worried about his safety especially where he was in the Florida Keys when the hurricane hit and it looks like a war zone there now."

The family is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Matthew Prise to contact Katrina Prise at 270-3855.

Just heard on my local TV news update he has been found SAFE!!!!!!
