Stealing from others is not a new idea.

Hernan Cortes was a destroyer of civilization.  What did he leave behind?  Prosperity?  Wealth for all citizens?  Haiti?  A new world religion?

Conquest for 'new world' gold?  Slaves?  Prosperity for all the little people who labored each day?

The Aztecs were famous for enslaving others and killing for their Gods to promote, better harvests, and favor with their Gods.  What did they leave behind in the lands and territories they ravaged?  Prosperity?

Cortes had guns and didn't share with the locals.  The locals did not have a way to defend themselves.  Do their rulers today let them have guns?  Or, are guns only for the cartels, gangs, military, and elite government types?

Southern post civil war politics didn't allow blacks to have guns.   When you take away the ability of people to defend themselves, you take away their humanity.

What did the slave have to protect themselves from invaders, cartels, and gangs?  Good luck charms?  Wooden shields?  Arrows?  Spears?

The elite got wealthier at the expense of the majority.  They were doing good by replacing the existing religion for another.  Did they build great civilizations?  Or, did they destroy?

The American experiment wasn't perfect at the beginning.  It was designed to give power to the masses and allow everyday people to prosper and keep the fruit of their labor.

When people prosper, there always seems to be someone who wants to steal,  it doesn't matter if they have two nickels in their pocket or millions, at some point it always comes down to greed and stealing from others.

Stealing is an old institution.  There are calls today to replace old institutions.   Replace stealing?  Replace slavery?  Replace greed?

When does the world work the same for all people?  A world where everyone is allowed to keep the fruit of their labor without fear of stealing by the elites and others?

There are many old institutions that worked well.  A few come to mind.  Parents who care for their children and do not push parental responsibility onto others.  They feed their children daily, send them to school, check their homework, and raise their children with good values that build great communities, create livable spaces for everyone.

According to the religion of environmental activists, the world should have been destroyed many times over due to the failure of humanity to surrender all government power and wealth to the elite, a few self appointed 'saviors'.

Did the Aztecs save their civilization through slavery, stealing, and human sacrifice?  Did they change the weather for better harvests?  I don't think so.

Is there an example of any civilization made better through endless stealing, looting, and pillaging?  Human sacrifice?

The founders of the United States had a better idea.  Let people, individuals control their destiny, wealth, and futures.  It worked for a shot time and then the stealing began and continues.  There doesn't seem to be better ideas to go forward, just the same pattern of stealing the labor of others and destroying civilizations.

Cortes and Nazis stole, destroyed human lives, enslaved, none had a focus on freedom, letting workers keep the fruit of their labor, or creating strong civilizations.

In the end, if you have a penny or peso in your pocket, someone wants to steal from  you.  If your work hard, someone will think they are entitled to the fruit of their labor, that somehow you and yours belong to them...

Stealing and cheating seem to be the enduring values humanity passes on from one generation to the next.

Where is the place for people to go who value hard work, keeping the fruit of their labor, and religious freedom?  A place where people are responsible for their families and communities?  A place where people don't wake up with grand ideas of new ways to steal and cheat others?  A place for people to work and be content with their modest lives?

It doesn't do any good to hate anyone,
they'll end up in your family anyway...
