Because at some prior Tourism Convention that was held either in PR or the US, probably some stupidhead in PR listened to -you know who-and made some kind of deal between AHATA and PR Tourism Co.

My question is, what does Puerto Rico GAIN from this?  Nothing!  I don't see Aruba promoting tourism and conventions TO Puerto Rico!

With all the hotels and most of them either remodeled or brand new and the absolute quality of service, not to mention the awesome food I miss...why would others go to Aruba when in PR you are protected because you are a US Citizen?  

I bet aruab is trying to spread their disease.

 Is there not a touch of honesty in other things he said?  I think he may have been trying to right some wrongs.  It was early,  and I think his angry got to him later when he realized that impact of her loss and wrecked his life.  

I think that is when the attempt to lash out at some one or something had him say the negative things to  Jamie.

Terry, I thought of you and your no eating in the car rules yeserday. We went to do some geo caching and we were going to have a picnic first. There were wasps hanging around the food, so we finished the food in the van. Lots of food , a roast chicken, caesar salad w/ crouton, tomatoes, veggies, nice crusty bread, garlic dressing, etc. The cake was also eaten in the car. While we were driving. It was like a moveable feast. Big mess all over. We looked like homeless hungry fugitives. I can see why the no eating in the vehicle.
All these statements have made me very emotional today.
They should be published in Diario and every man woman and child in Aruba should be forced to read them. What kind of a culture and society do they have there ?

May 31, 2005 - after receiving the phone call from "Paul" Joran and Deepak return to the VDS compound while the posse and Paul  drove down to the casino to talk to Joran.  
Deepak says " when we arrived at Joran's house, nobody was there" .
Where was the 10 year old brother that Paul was babysitting?

You ask about my recent vacation of a couple of weeks, all inclusive...  well..
 
Oh, it was good, but it had its humps....
 
It is a magnificent hotel, with great landscapes...  good restaurants and otherwise nice food (I was poisoned by pork meat the last two days there)....
 
It is a three star hotel but I knocked down one, making it a two star in my book....
 
The mini bar had only two cokes and one seven up...  I expected beer, snacks, and mini booze bottles...
 
After a room change we finally got a room with a working air conditioner, but it spewed water all over the coffee machine in the mini bar, and over the bathroom counter...  I decided to fight the flood rather, than the 90º heat...  wise choice, I am a good swimmer...
 
It had a grand and beautiful swimming pool (besides the one in my room)...  However huge as it was, it was always full of people...  We decided we were not about to swim in International Urine waters....  Cheks, Canadians, UK, etc. guests....

The Presidente beer was pumped out of a metal pressurized canister, making it second class...(explanation:  Puerto Ricans think that this beer, the only way it tastes great, is by the bottle, not by can or any other container)  I saw a guy drink about ten plastic glasses of it, before he stood up and walked straight across the room...  After that, no more beer for me...  I only had one good Presidente in a glass bottle, and it was in a store on the way to the hotel...  I switched to Clamato and some odd named rum (Siboney) they were serving, but it tasted good...
 
I asked for bottled Bohemia beer once, and a Barcelo Añejo and coke drink another time....  In both cases I was told they did not have those National drinks on hand...
 
I asked for a Gibson, and saw the waiter's look, so I made it simple and changed to a Martini...   I was brought back a spicy (angostura) liquid in a Margarita glass, which I had to throw into a flower pot....  the plant grew three inches before it flopped over when we left...  I went back to my Clamato..
 
Four men in our group were poisoned with pork meat, which made me wear double underwear back to PR on the plane, as a safety precaution....
 
The other side of the coin....  The workers were very pleasant, but we spoke to one of them who was on her straight twenty first straight work-day prior to a two day break to visit her family in the capital city....  While their average wage is ninety US dollars a month...  No wonder they risk their life in those skimpy boats all the time....
 
Besides that everything else was AOK.....
 
I will have my draw backs to a future vacation in Santo Domingo again though...  even if we win another prize...

Can we figure out where this spot is on the map?  50 meters down the side road? I've suspected for a while that Joran and 2K would be telling different stories about where they left her on the M beach... Joran told Greta they got out right by the Marriott and they walked north away from her hotel to the deserted area, but it looks like Deepak is saying they dropped her off somewhere well to the north of the Marriott. I bet they are saying they dropped her off in about the same spot Joran says they walked to. I think that's where she died.  She was expecting they would walk south to her hotel, but Joran started trying to have sex with her, she said no, something bad happened.

I don't have a map handy for that road, but that could work with w/ the gardern's 2:30ish sighting. My supposed 2:15 death, they put her on the beach or in surf, jurin takes off shoes, sand gets in car, quick get away leaves shoes on beach.  Then they or at least jurin return w/ others to move her.

Not really. He is another one where it is all about HIM. HIS family is suffering because of him. Not a word about " the girl " and what her family might be going thru.
The worst part of this is over for him. They rode it out. The ALE and the Justice officials have been aware of these statements for quite some time.
So all he has to do is nothing and his life continues. Sure some of his dreams of going to the States won't happen, but so what ? Whose fault is that ? If he had told the truth in the first place and not tied his fate to the Sloots it might have even been easier on him than all of this. Any time he wants to end it, he can. Just tell the truth. He let Joran lead him around by the nose so he could have sex with drunken or drugged girls
after Joran got them. What a man.

Then he said to me that if the police should ask anything that we should say the following: That we left together with the girl when we left from "Carlos & Charlie's", that we drove around, that Joran kissed and fingered her, that she fell asleep in the car and that we had taken her to the hotel.
