Woman missing on Carnival Cruise around Belize.

So let's see what she looks like.  If it's another pretty young woman then I think we know what is happening with these disappearances.

Apparently women go missing from cruise ships and the families are told it isn't foul play.  Here's a nice looking blond woman missing from a cruise ship earlier in the year.

Any more many cruise ships are just floating casinos, maybe their is a corralation between gambeling and crime(SAYS MR OBVIOUS)

Cruise ships are nasty places.  If one person gets sick everyone gets it.  Plus most the food is served buffet style and gets picked through.

Security seems to have suffered as well.

It is more likely that drug trafficking occurs on ships than on plane.  Little cargo is searched.  Unscrupulous characters on board may throw people over or put them unconscious somewhere for any reason.  I do not recall seeing any security on the one cruise I took.  Obviously security is lacking.  I do not think the industry wants to document the incidents.
Here is another interesting article:

Cruises seem to have gotten much cheaper lately, maybe those cheap tickets are being subsidized by drug dealers.

To be honest when I went on a cruise I was to busy trying to avoid getting sick to notice the lack of security, you probably could take about anything or or off a cruise ship.

I think it is so crappy that people go out to have fun, pay a lot of money to go to these places, and they have crap security or no police presence.

Not sure if a cop on the street would have helped Natalee, but one at the lighthouse would have... From what I hear, once the clubs in Aruba close there are no cops on the street and there is a lot of shady characters hanging out selling drugs etc... Why take our money to these places if we are at risk to vanish into slavery or murder never to be found again?

Seems the whole "human-trafficking" trade is bigger than I thought, based off what I have read in the past few weeks.

well according to the prime minster hadn't Paulus been rejected for his Judge position and they were discussing other options. Maybe in need of some money he took advantage of this trade?

Milatary bases in California allow anyone over 18 to drink alcohol on base to keep servicemen from going across the border into Mexico to drink.

This seems like a smart idea,  many young people go to unsafe countries to drink, makng a potentially dangerous situation even more dangerous.  Why not lower the drinking age and keep young people in areas that are safe.
