I've seen part of the article, I thought it was pretty interesting.  Keep seeing Jossy Mansur on FOX, he's mentioned in it.

I read all of the article-it is VERY interesting, especially this part "...According to Canadian police reports, in 1978, Pasquale Cuntrera owned the Holiday Inn Casino – although the registers indicated otherwise. "At the start of 1980s the Cuntrera's were often at the Holiday Inn casino," says a croupier. In 1989 they were there again, although they were ostensibly thrown of the island...DEA agent David Lorino, the case-officer in Operation Wiseguy, claims that when the Cuntrera's moved to Venezuela they carried some 15 to 30 million dollars with them, which were invested in hotels in Caracas, but also on Curaçao and Aruba."

I have tried to be very careful about throwing out theories and speculations on this topic.. as there are so many. So, forgive me for giving into the urge.

I personally am beginning to think that there was a rave party that night.. and that is where the group went with Natalee. I think the older K. brother knew where these parties were at and that was their destination that night.
Perhaps they left JVDS and Natalee there.

I find myself returning to the interview that the security guard gave after his release http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americas/06/14/cnna.john/index.html

This would also hold as to why this kids are not telling exactly what they did that night.
Who runs these Rave parties?.... what happened there? I think those are the missing puzzle pieces.

I won't speculate again on this, just throwing it out there.

Follow these links, I've posted them before.  Check my history on this board.  A few people are doing a good job of connecting the dots.

Keep Digging Monkeys, you are almost there....

Senate Aide Says He Was Fired For Refusing To Back Changes

A fired Senate intelligence committee aide said yesterday that powerful Washington lobbyists representing foreign businesses are attempting to undermine legislation that would require U.S.  officials to designate foreign "drug kingpins" and freeze their holdings in the United States.

The aide, Jim Stinebower, who helped draft the drug-trafficking bill, said he was fired 13 days ago at the behest of Sen.  Richard C.  Shelby ( R-Ala.  ), chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, for refusing to back changes sought by business interests in Mexico and Aruba.  Several Republican sources also said Shelby's insistence on amendments had led to the firing of Stinebower, the panel's chief drug analyst.

Does it mention anywhere in those fabulous articles that the ink wasn't even dry on the extradition treaty (abt crimes committed U.S. soil, don't get too excited) that the U.S. asked the extradition of two Mansur cousins? Does it also mention that those cousins were held for TWO years by the FBI? Does it also mention that there was no trial, NOTHING, during those two years?
Does it also mention that Interbank went bankrupt and that a lot of the assetts of the Mansurs were auctioned off?

Look, y'all want to discuss Mansur and their links to drug trafficking, sure. But please tell me what benefit they would have for abducting / killing an American 18-year-old. Please.

MominTN, now we don't know if there are drugbusts, we may be supporting criminals..what's next?
