In my opinion, they are way off base - Did we EVER say that murders/crimes  Don't happen in the US? NO  Did we ever say that murders/crimes don't happen in New York, Alabama, or any city in the US? NO

The POINT is.... If God forbid, you ARE the victim of a crime, Will Justice be served?  Will you be treated with respect and will the Law Enforcement of the said Country TRY to solve the crime?  Will there be an investigation?  Will police protect and serve?  Will the Law Enforcement care whether justice is served?  If you are in Aruba - NO  They will first ask you how much money you have - then after they finish their cereal, they will begin a smear campaign against the victim, you and anyone who asks any questions.  They will intimidate any witnesses and destroy evidence.  That's just the tip of the iceburg.  I'm too mad to go on...

I agree, Kimmy.  No place is completely safe; the issue is Aruba is lying about it's level of crime and they want it to appear they are safer than other places as part of their marketing plan.  The corruption is obvious and it too is being protected.  If the police don't trust other police, how can the tourists?  How can you expect help and/or justice if the police don't want to prosecute certain individuals and the whole country wants to hide their crimes under a veil of lies and accusations against the victims?

Sunny, how are you?  I figured out long ago this is about murder.  This is not about serving tea to ladies of genteel upbringing nor reading bedtime stories to minor children.  The perpetrator in this situation was a minor and his fairy godmother is a witch, his mother is a controlling pathological enabler, and his father is the gifter of porn to underage children.  In order to combat that, we have to 'TELL IT LIKE IT IS'.  It is time to take the white gloves off and abandon the party manners.  You cannot think like the devil unless you get down in the mud with Scoop.

Hi Monkeys!

I am finally in the office after 2 days of Monster.com training at a Beautiful Hotel in Fort Lauderdale!

It was awesome!

2 days in a beautiful hotel in Fort Lauderdale...what is up with that?
  I got a power point presentation and two hours on the phone with 50 other people!!

I drove to and from the hotel both days I did not get to stay there but truth be told all Monster was a great host with a lovely breakfast , Lunch and snacks both days!  The training is actually the last on their 14 city tour and day 1 was posting and today was searching.

...and it was all free because of our Monster subscription.
