I'm soooo glad your daughter is back safely as well!

The scarierest thing to me is making that long flight with no lotion or toothpaste. Shocked

And ya know, they don't usually bring you that bottled water back in the cheap seats. Sad

From the beginning I was convinced that Joran did not attend school the next day.  I am still sticking to that.  We found out that Satish didn't attend school and neither did Joran.  They had too many loose ends to tie up.  No way did he go to school.  Paulus needed them to get their stories straight and he knew he didn't have enough time.

Joran 6/15 statement says the Bubali interview was on Tues May 31.

So when Deepak said he vaccumed the car the day before the Bubali interview, because Joran had almost fallen in the water and then sat down in the car with sand on him, he was referring to an incident on Monday, the day Natalee went missing.

FROM DEEPAK'S JUNE 16TH STATEMENT:

I asked him if he had had sex with the girl. He said that they went into the water briefly and that after that they sat down on the beach and the girl had fallen asleep, that is what I understood. His actual words were that the girl "passed out" on the beach and that he left her there. I asked him why he had left her there. He answered that she would be leaving the same day and that someone would find her there. I cursed him/told him off for the fact that he had left her there. I even told him he was sick for doing that to the girl. I have to tell you there was a lot of disturbance on the phone. It happened several times that I could not hear Joran. At some point it was so bad that he said that when he would get home, he would come online.

Sick for leaving Natalee on the beach or sick for doing something else.  He was never at any beach.

Why not just call him.  If you can talk to him at the beach on the phone why not call him on the phone.  Why only talk on line.

This stood out to me... What a strange comment - he was "sick" for diong that to the girl.

This makes me believe that just leaving someone on the beach is not sick...It is what happened that is "sick" Makes me think Deepak knows something "sick" happened.

FROM DEEPAK'S JUNE 16TH STATEMENT:

To your question whether I can state anything about the case of the missing girl, I can say the following. Joran had made up the story that there were traces of blood in my car. My car was ripped open by the police and one could see that was this was a lie. Now he is telling a story about how the police should look into it that I always have money. I have a job and get an allowance from my parents. I am not Joran who steals money from his parents. And I am of the opinion that, that this is not the issue at this moment. If you want to find out what happened to the girl and where she is, you have to be with Joran van der SLOOT Joran van der SLOOT is a disturbed/sich person, he has admitted that he is in the care of a psychologist and that he hits his brother. If the police wants more information about Natalee, then you have to be with Joran. He was the last person with the girl, that I can guarantee.

Deepak has a job and gets an allowance from his parents?  He is 21 years old and he gets an allowance.

Now Joran is the one who made up the story about blood in his car.

Even Deepak knows that Joran is seeing a psychologist and calling him a disturbed person.

San --

I think that's my favorite part out of all the statements.

Deepak is turning on Joran. I wonder why?

Joran is the one without the job -- the A+ sporter high school student. I would think that the police should be much more curious as to where HIS money comes from. Stealing from his parents? Cheating tourists in the casino??

Again, my mind goes to Beth's statements -- "they are no even denying that something bad happened..they are pointing their fingers at eachother" (paraphrased).

.......
If the police wants more information about Natalee, then you have to be with Joran. He was the last person with the girl, that I can guarantee.

hmmmmmm. guarantee.

From Deepak's June 16th Statement:

Isn't the wording of this curious if they contend they left her on the beach?

Joran van der SLOOT is a disturbed/sich person, he has admitted that he is in the care of a psychologist and that he hits his brother. If the police wants more information about Natalee, then you have to be with Joran.

What would motivate Deepak to make this comment about Joran being disturbed.  Again I believe this shows knowledge of something happening to Natalee.

There are also several comments by Joran that Deepak did not have to work the next day. That's why Deepak offered to go back and find Joran's sneakers (per jvds) after DK picked him up. (and we know that was only to try to place DK with Natalee after jvds).

But we know from DK statements that he DID have to go to work the next day.

Maybe it's a translation thing -- since Deepak doesn't leave for work until the afternoon?

I've brought up this discrepancy before but was told that Joran never said that Deepak was off the next day. Well.....now I've read it in his statement.

He can guarantee it because he dropped Joran off at his house with Natalee.

Morning Monkeys!!
I woke up at 5am this morning...finally getting back to normal schedule and read through the transcripts. Have not had time to sit and make notes but was this in fact true...was he referring to day after Natalee went missing? And where did the sand come from??!! No one mentioned a trip t the beach did they??!! Just meeting at Casino!!  He got a bit testy about cleaning the car too didn't he?? Mentioned he can clean his car when ever he wanted to.

Also notice how Deepak throws in the statement about hitting his brother.  Is he saying Joran hit Natalee.

great point San...did not pick up on that...he just may be trying to show his violent tendencies..also why he mention psychiatrist. Did you also notice he is seeing psychiatrist instead of counselor or psycholgist?! This would suggest he is receiving meds too!!
