I haven't gotten the chance to read Deepak's additional statements (posted on the FP) yet, but it looks like very interesting reading for sure!!  Have you read them yet?

Re. the blitz on Mr. Grossman (USAToday) - as a result of this, we have 5 murders on Aruba in 2005 that WE KNOW OF. (Sadly, I'm including Natalee in that number.)

I have read them... I need the time to sit down and what I want to do is kinda work in a differnt direction - put the interviews and statements together to see what's consistent... maybe unravel it that way...

If I was giving a statment I would just say I called Joran at the casiono.  Deepak is giving too much detail.

He never mentions if the sporter called him.  I would be willing to bet there was a flurry of phoning that day.  Why would he ask Joran if he attended/did not attend school that day?  why would this day be any different?  why did Satish not attend school?  What was so important that day that he did not attend school?  Automotive Enterprises?

Neighbor has probably tried to "vacate their minds" so they do not have to think about what all goes on next door.  I bet they continue shaking their heads and saying "there goes the neighborhood."

Kalpoe Car Interior Re-Done

To your question from whom I bought the car, I can say the following. I bought the car from a man called David GROSS. He works at a company called "Carufa". I must tell you that when they installed the sound in my car, they used a lot of glue and seal/sealant under the carpet of the car. They had to remove the carpets to pull new cables through the car. You can verify this at "Automotive Enterprises". The man who installed it is called Osman OSMAN. I don't know if anyone had an accident/car crash with this car prior to it being sold to me.

San, you seem to think deepak refers to car interior re-do happening AFTER Natalee was in the car.  So sometime between May 31 and June 8 (the day before they are detained).

Maybe so.  Why would deepak bring this up? As we know, this car had a lot of aftermarket sound and video installed.  And this was already in car on May 29.  Deepak says in earlier statements talk about sound turned up, closed windows, put in music, playing dvds (porn) etc.

SO maybe he made an upgrade or exchange -- if so -- why?  He already had too much in the car to start with ---

But it surely does seem as though deepak is trying to explain a "recent" work on the car's interior, an explanation which would only be relevant if the work happened after May 31.

The statements which the three made when they were together in polis car should be reviewed, and I will have to go back and look:  in that statment they talked of this company "Automotive Enterprises" also.

So this Automotive Enterprises gets two mentions (at least) while the 3 are in custody.  And the forensics from Holland come back as chocolate and cleaning fluid, I presume kalpoe car impounded on or about time of arrest (June 9)...

...HHhhhmmm.  This is getting interesting.
