Security guard on Greta says that Deepak said their story was made up by the Dutch guy and the Dutch guy's father.

Yeah Mickey is up next....I had NO IDEA that deepak "supposedly" told him that the father was the one that made up the lie and told everyone to go with it..i just knew that deeepak said that they made it up..... and that was that..never heard anythign abotu the father bein the main man in the creation of the story........... anyone else know!~

Regarding Arubagirls earlier post of her friend seeing the bros. car
on the road:

what if the bros. never dropped Joran and Natalee off at the
beach at all BUT... Joran and Natalee dropped the bros. off
at the bros. house and Joran took Deepaks car that evening..?

... has that been thrown out yet?

arubagirl -- Is Van Straaten the person whose son you know?  How is it that he is also a Nederlander, possibly from Arnehm or Boxtel, to be Joran's godfather?  And Lorenzo's mother, too?  Is Aruba full of people from that one area of The Netherlands?

Maybe it didn't matter because she apparently only stayed in it one night...the first night.

Another reason that the roommates weren't alarmed that she never returned.  But I'm not sure that they were there either.  

I think maybe the main action was upstairs.

How weird is this Croes deal?  I can't believe he would go forward not knowing them.  He said Deepak was a 'client" but he didn't know him....hmmmmmmm weird.
