Tonight this forum worked more the way that Tom and Red intended. Less personal attacks, more breaking news, more new posters diving in with theory's. Being civil to each other seems to have gotten us to a new level. Maybe the most people overall weren't on but it has been busy for about 10 hours straight. I am on here about 15 hours a day, but RB, CAT and I all do have full time jobs as well so any help from fellow posters to keep things on the right track is great as well. So I just want to say thank you and I hope we have turned the corner and continue on to great things.

ya'all do a very good job.  I know from experience the difficulties that can arise.  I handled similar boards long before the internet and we were just using very poor software.  Congrats on a job well done.

 Very Happy

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered; but where was Natalee at if she wasn't staying in her room the last three nights?

What about Lorenzo? On the front of the SM blog, someone by the name of Newgirl is talking a lot about this crazy Lorenzo guy. Supposivley Joran's illegitmate brother.

Someone said he slaughtered dogs, and held lots of raves; his house was pretty secluded. Just a thought.

I still think if Deepak told him the father was in on cooking up a story he would have brought up the father when first released. That would be just too big of a detail to leave out.
If someone can show where he said "family" or "father" before tonight then I might go for it. Until then, I still say the "three" meant "three" as in the "three suspects" at the time.
Maybe he's embellishing to get back in the spotlight or maybe he's making the details fit what the media says about the dad covering and has convinced himself of this version.
Whatever...it's just another instance of someone now telling a slightly different version of their original story. But hey...I don't know a single major player in this that hasn't with the possible exception of Mr. H.
The wheel keeps turning....

When the Alabama posse arrived at the VDS house Monday night, did Paul go with them to look for Joran at the casino, or did he stay home?

Tonight it seemed to work more like it did in the beginning when we were all open to theories and were able to discuss different things we were hearing and what it does to our theories.  Very interesting tonight, I thought.

Here's a wild idea.

What if Deepak wasn't lying in the email about Joran winning $100 for Natalee at the casino. Now we know almost all of her money was left in her room. And maybe, if he did win that $100 for her, she stuck it in her pocket. Or didn't. But maybe Joran thought she did. Whatever. He wanted that $100.

What if this whole thing became a robbery gone bad? What's the best way to rob a person? Drug 'em and knock 'em out. And while you're at it, get a little sumpin' sumpin' for yourself.

Sotawspeak.

WHen he was first released he mentioned nothing about the father, now there it is. If he thought the dad was involved then I think that would have been big news and he would have said it. And he would not have said the "three". He would have said the father was in on it.
Now he says family, he doesn't know who in family, but that father was involved in story.
But he did not say this on two video interviews when he was first released and was telling his story about Deepak conversation......that is my point

Think about it!  Mickey said "THE THREE"!  But did he say who the three were?  I don't think so!

Now, when the Twitty posse showed up in the middle of the night (the first night after Nat disappears) who was at the house (when they returned from the wild goose chase to the casino)?  Jr, and Depak(or was it Satish)leaning on the car? And how long was it before the "family" came out to the road(before the goose chase) ?  30 +/- minutes! (wonder what was going on in the house?)
Prior to the posse showing up, there was no reason for the amigos, the family or anyone at the house to think there was anything to hide(unless guilt preceeded the posse)Right?  As of that time how would they know that Nat was missing?  Only one reason, and that seems obvious! (maybe guilty or something!
The lies were first revealed there and then, by the three, Jr., Depak(or Satish?) and Papa!  ie "THE FAMILY"!

Or sumpin like that! Sotaspeak!

VIDEO AT 10:00!

Great post. It could have been cept PVDS was with the posse at the casino. So it had to be before that.

Oh!  So you agree there was PRIOR guilt therefore time to git story straight?

WHAT IF....Joran said he left her at the beach...and the family agreed to support this and d/s ...they lied believing she would show up and never imagining joran would settle a debt with a girls life/

Mickey John sounds honest and legit to me. But I don't get why Deepak would spill his guts to an unknown jail mate, yet LE can't crack him.

And it appears LE has not questioned Mickey, even though he appears to be an important witness. Huh???

As frustrated as I am with the bungling of Aruba's LE, I have to admit that it can be pretty bad here, too. Today in Birmingham, thanks to a bad prosecution and 12 idiot jurors, Richard Scrushy was found Not Guilty of the $2.7 BILLION fraud at HealthSouth. Somebody called this the Wall Street equivalent of the O.J. Trial.

I hope the people of Aruba are at least as embarrassed by their handling of Natalee's disappearance as I am by the acquittal of Scrushy.

It's time for some good news. Let's pray they find Natalee.

GOOD POST! I hope aruba girl sees this.
I agree totally...today mickey and i talked about all the craziness...he saw a little of the BTK testimony and we both wonder how the world got to be so crazy.

Friend of Micky/Monkeys..I have never spoken to you directly before but I just wanted to say that I am very glad that your friend has been released and that things seem to be OK for him. I'm sorry that he got draggedinto it. I personally am quite certain tht he had nothing to do with this tragedy and I hope that he is able to remain out of any further entanglements and developments.

Maybe something bad did happen but it wasn't Joran that did the something bad to her...I (and a few others here) think MAYBE she was kidnapped for the sex slave thing and Joran is scared out of his mind?being held for his own protection?Papa got out to do some kind of investigation on his own along with the godfather/police guy..we have gotten very little to no REAL info from the authorities, albeit for good reason as to not put the case in jeopardy.Maybe I just need some sleep and to stop thinking of conspiracy theories.

Jeremy Edward Brown?

I have no idea of his name...sorry. But I "thought" someone posted a few pages back that Jereny is a MBHS student...and I have NO idea if they are missing or not. (posts were flying by at that time)

LOL, Kerin & GreatOwl - Jeremy has been the "Who's on first" part of the thread tonight.  A rumor had him on the trip and "not missing but unaccounted for" or "missing but not reported missing".  With so many of us lagging behind, this question kept popping up again and again.  It was hilarious, really.  It was only a rumor - no truth to it.

Another "man" was reportedly on the flight down and Natalee talked to him at length, was reported by Greta that he did not return as scheduled and they were trying to contact him.  That's all we know & I hope I've got this part right.

Agreed they had no idea what the real story was and prolly never asked how Joran knew she was missing.

Don't buy the debt thing though. He was allowed into multiple establishments to gamble. News of debt there travels fast.
