Are you kidding?  If you're caught cheating on a standardized exam, you're pretty close to radioactive to all U.S. colleges.  (I recall that it's a 3% acceptance rate for students in this situation.)

This kid perpatrated fraud in a missing persons investigation.  That fraud stands a good chance of causing the missing persons case never to be solved.  And a university is supposed to let the kid in with a deep discount?

Saint Leo University can - and will - revise its character assessment.  It also has the right to minimize the chance that angry mobs will disrupt campus life.

And what could Joran do about it?  Sue?  He'd have the burden of proof on whatever half-assed theory he'd come up with.  That burden would almost certainly include proving that he didn't have anything to do with Natalee's disappearance.  And he'd have no right against self-incrimination.  Trust me - Joran isn't going anywhere near a courtroom if he gets out of this jam.

About eight years ago, Harvard rescinded the admission of a young woman named Gina Grant. She had lied on her application about never having been convicted of a felony. As it turned out, she and her boyfriend, as juveniles, had murdered her mother.
Harvard rescinded the admission not because of the murder rap, but because of the lie on the application form. Grant later went to Tufts; her career plans included medical school.
So it's hard to say what will happen to Joran's college plans should he go free and clear.

yeah, really looks like the days of lynching are still around.

DANG, kids...nobody said anything about a lynching.  How is a shirt in a ziploc the same as a beating?  Am I missing something?

The law enforcement interviewed last night in RE. To the voice analysis said that they could only get a clip (7 seconds) of the fox news site and use that for their tests. I am not sure that they have used it for the boys or not. it hinkt hey said that they were going to do that today or before the end of the week, but not sure.  Just know that it was accepted and knew it was not goin to be admissable cause stuff like that is not admissable anywhere, it is just used to help move along the investigation in a direction that can bring about some answers

Ive read cases where theinterrogators have dressed in clothes similiar to the ones the victim were wearing the day they were killed. Granted the interrogator has to be the same sex as the victim but Mind games work well when youre dealing with sociopaths that have already convinced themself that they didnt do anything wrong.

I don't know if or why it would be against the law in Aruba..but it is not against the law in the US....there many many such 'tricks' used, just like telling one that the other has agreed to talk for a lesser charge and is going to put all the blame on YOU!

My understanding from Tim MIller interview last night was they will be in water today, not inland water.   This leads me to believe in the ocean.

All that I heard him say was "in the water"

I didn't hear him say "not inland"
Yes he said "not inland" when Nancy asked for a hint, thats the way I remember it anyhooo
So that might mean it  is inland...just to throw the hounds off!

Thanks Sunny, I guess I must have missed that point.

the 3 put in the same room again ! Wonder what was said??
this after paul talked to Joran..

This is getting ridiculous.  I am trying to stay positive and hopeful this will be resolved--but come on already!  I don't understand why they keep putting all 3 in the room together..Geez so they can change their story again but this time they will be back on the same page?  So they can now make up a story how no one knows SC?  How PVDS did not tell them anything-he wasn't up or home or whatever.  Then PVDS gets to see and talk to JVDS--OK Joran-we have them where we want them.  Here is the next thing we need to do/say. OK Dad, I'm listening and will tell the guys.

OMG, WTF?  This is horrible.  PVDS is a judge in training-he knows the ins/outs-the wrong thing to do/say while talking to police/investigators...I need to breath--INHALE....EXHALE....

Are they going to actually allow the voice analysis?

Hey Diva, I must have missed something here...have seen the voice analysis tool mentioned...who is bringing that in?  Is the TX group facilitating that?  Will the local LE use that..and will the results be legal in their system??

Lots of Questions!!!!

I thought Jug said last night on CNN that yes the LE/Dutch was all for the voice analysis and were excited to use it

I missed last nights news except for bits of Greta and her weathermen, I was trying to eat my dinner at 9:30  Rolling Eyes  after taking care of my 5 y.o monkey  Laughing

Was posted last night on rwv that law enforecement did NOT release the interview tape to the voice analyzer people.

I have a question and maybe this has already been discussed, but what happens if joran get out of prison and the VDS's leave aruba as they are planning on a move as we speak?
Also, I don't understand how they could let Paulus go after finding out he told the boys "no body, no case"
How would he know to say that if he didn't already know SHE had been disposed of?  Isn't this some kind of crime in and of itself? The dutch law is just too mind boggling!

Ok-after I took a break for my breathing, one thought that crossed my mind-maybe they are bringing all 3 in the same room to use the voice analysis on them?  Hmm---back to a positive here--

Really freak them out by having someone close in height/weight, blonde hair, same type of clothes (in general, men don't remember exactly what kind of clothing and colors) my husband doesn't 95% of the time, walk by their cells and see their reaction.

It has been mentioned a number of times by American media that sodium pentathol is legal to use in Aruba during the course of an investigation.  Seems that NOW is the TIME to utilize it.  Again, as a tool, the results are not admissable into the court room.  Think at a minimum it would be effective with the Kalpoe brothers, now I don't know how that drug effects sociopath's, I certainly believe sociopath's can fool a lie detector & probably voice analysis.

Please Ms. Prosecutor, utilize ALL the TOOLS available to you.  JMHO
