Thank you, Elaine and None  Very Happy

I think they may be able to find something in the deep water search, but my fear is that Natalee’s family will not want her body turned over to ALE and I cannot blame them one bit for this!  It easily could disappear, like all the rest of the evidence has… However, if our FBI does the forensic work, that probably will not suffice as evidence.  I fear the suspects never will be prosecuted, anyway  Crying or Very sad And there wouldn't be much forensics possible at this point, anyway.
That is right, yikes. I forgot that if they do find her, she would have to be turned over to the ALE, what a scary thought!

I think they have good reason to be looking for this trap. The statements and the phone records converge on the area of the fisherman huts. Three of the four huts were broken into. Stolen was a large machete, rope, and a cage big enough to fit a body. Dompig has confirmed the cage is a point of interest to the police. We have reason to believe SC may have been on the beach that night with a boat (since he left the Tatoo and gave an alibi that put him on the beach), and GW was getting off work at the casino a short walk away. We have Fredy's statement that Joran told him NH fell down many times, couldn't get up, and then couldn't wake up. Joran, puts himself at the beach at 2:35 calling Deepak. Daybreak was a little over two hours later.

If it did happen this way, finding that cage after two years, will be very difficult to do. It may even be covered by sediments.

I agree. I will say if anyone can find it, this group will.

If NH was buried 2-5 miles out to sea..She will be found..

From the Fox show:

Tim Miller:

That's another thing that Gerold Dompig actually told us when Dave and I was over there; that he felt that Natalee was out in the water, that the night the fishermen's hut was broken into, a knife was stolen, a rope was stolen and a large crab trap was stolen.

Gerold Dompig's words were "Natalee was put in that crab trap, they put rocks in it and they took her out 3 to 5 miles and she's 800 to 1,000 feet deep and we always thought about the water anyhow.

When Dave and I were over there we actually found the boat we truly feel took Natalee out to sea

Did Dompig really say that, I dont think I ever heard Dompig talk about the crab trap and rocks??

Aruban Police Commissioner Thinks Missing Teen May Be Inside Fish Trap
January 11, 2006

HOUSTON -- The founder of Texas EquuSearch said he and a team of divers from Florida will travel to Aruba after investigators there revealed they might know where to find the body of a missing Alabama teen, KPRC Local 2 reports.

Natalee Holloway disappeared in June while on a high school class trip to Aruba. She has not been seen since.

On Friday, EquuSearch founder Tim Miller and a deepwater search team from Florida will travel back to Aruba to search an area three to five miles off the island's coast that is between 800 to 1,000 feet deep,

Miller told KPRC Local 2 that Aruba’s police commissioner told him that he feels Holloway might be inside a fish trap dropped deep into the water.

"The night she disappeared is the same night a fisherman's hut got broken into and a huge fish trap got stolen. Some big knives got stolen, and none of it has been found since," Miller said.

The cage the commissioner referred to is similar a crab trap people could buy at a hardware store.

"If she is, in fact, in that huge fish-trap like we think there is a possibility, I am optimistic that the equipment we've got will be bringing Natalee back," Miller said.

The founder of the volunteer search-and-rescue organization told KPRC Local 2 that he does not believe Holloway ever left Aruba.

"Our whole goal is none other than to bring Natalee Holloway home," Miller said. "It's too early to just say it's over with. There are still some things to do."

Miller told KPRC Local 2 that the last time he was in Aruba, he was threatened with arrest because he was working without a permit. He said he told authorities that he wasn't working for anyone and that he was a volunteer.

If Tim finds any remains, I don't want him to turn ANYTHING over to ALE without keeping a viable DNA sample to bring home. Otherwise, we can expect: 1) It will be inclusive
            2) It will be a dog
            3) It will be conclusively declared unrelated to the case
            4) It will disappear
            5) It will be "switched" before being turned over to forensics.

I think Tim should turn over a sample of any remains directly to our FBI for testing and should keep a witness with him at all times to verify the chain of possession.

Dugga, and Red, am so happy to see the archives starting to come back. Thank you for all your hard work!

Am behind in my reading as I started reading Dutchlady in the archives.

IMP I will not be satisfied that Justice has been done for Natalee until Tim finishes his works there, the Dutch bring charges and Dutchlady can get there...

She needs to be there.

Many you through your Good Works in here, in volunteering, in political causes, civic causes, Patriotism,   your activism...

Can't some one call someone and get it done for Dutchlady to go there?

would the family have any contacts with money who could send here there

Could she go on the ship and then have her own trusted researchers around her to help her research on land (also for protection) althought Dutchlady has had just military training in so many areas she could hold her own... She is Dutch too.

IMO Tim is on the ocean and Dutchlady would cover land areas unless she senses things in the water,........ that many don't ever think about... some might think Dutchlady is a tad weird about her ideas, but she gets results and is quite a thinker outside of the norm.

Hi, and welcome to the monkeys ~ couldn't sleep and just read your post.
What you might want to do is post your question/situation here, and then maybe start a thread in the lounge.   Confused  I usually hang out and lurk, but Klaas or San or some other pro will be along in the morning.  Wink   I think whatever you do will be okay.  This is a great place.

The situation in a nutshell: My daughter left Jasper this morning at 3 am enroute to Tucson, Az. She called a friend to say that she had stopped in Tuscaloosa at a truckstop to get gas...that is the last time anyone has talked to her.  Her friend in Tucson received a call around 8:00 (AZ time) from an anonymous person saying that my daughter had been robbed and that this person had taken her to a truck stop...no mention of her car. I called the number of the anonymous caller but did not get an answer...left message.

The story becomes even more bizarre, I know that she cashed out the debit card she was given and a guy who said his name was Hosea said that she was in the motel and for us not to worry. hen asked to speak to her, he hung up ..he was calling from her phone....there is more....

Lady Devon~I'm with CBB on this.  Not to get you even more panicky, but you need to alert the police NOW.  Don't wait 'til morning.

I called her phone and told her that IF I did not get to talk to her in person
pretty soon that I was going to have her dad contact the police (he gave her a car for her b'day) and have the car stopped. After a short wait, the police were called and a report was made. At midnight I received a call from her cell phone...a guy who did not want to talk...he just said.."did you talk to her?"....I asked how he got her phone and he said that she must have lost it at the motel but that she was gone now. He wouldn't say anything else.
Within 30 minutes...her friend received a call from a Arizona area code saying that my daughter was in Arizona...no way she could have driven
that distance in the time frame we have . The police claim they cannot
track the cell phone . I am at my wit's end trying to make sense out of this.

CBB ~ Are you around?  Gosh, this really makes me nervous.  Just don't like the sound of it.  I think I'll hang around a bit, and see if she answers.  Sad

You're right, TCU. I didn't mean to cause panic. It may be just fine, Lady Devon, but I think I'd err on the side of caution and follow TCU's advice and call now. I hope you are not alone, but we're here.

Yes, please post when you can
