Excellent post OS... I agree.  There was no boy that Natalee had dinner with and the kids weren't out of control... also in every face book picture that was stolen of Natalee her eyes look clear and she usually has a bottle of water with her even with the drinks...

I don't buy any of the garbage and yes, someone would have sold out the story if it were all salicious...

and I am going to say all the time he was wearing the shoes in the Greta interview... he made the shoe story up to make it seem more believable and he was all smirky because he was thinking he got away with it!!!

I agree.  Didn't she arrive on a Wednesday or Thursday.  I mean really, these people made it sound like she ran off the plane looking to hook up with someone.  That didn't even cross that kids mind.  She was just so excited to be on her trip and have a good time with her friends.  She didn't need to go to Aruba to meeting someone.

No need to go far away from the body because she was in Joran's house.  This is why I feel Joran was in the main part of the house because there was either a seriously wounded Natalee or a dead Natallee in his apartment.  Joran goes as far to say on Greta when he got home he made himself a sandwich.  He didn't make any sandwich he was keeping away from a dead body.  He was with Paulus in the main house trying to calm down and figure out what to do.[/quote]

I too believe Natalee was at the vds property. I also believe that Natalee's body was disposed of quickly and not held or moved for any length of time because of decomposition.

I will say that I don't know about a party.... it's possible.  

But I will say that I don't for one second believe the beach story. I don't think they were ever there.

Reason? It's because only the week before Natalee was murdered, a woman had complained that a man accosted her on the beach by the fisherman's huts. She yelled for help and they finally chased him away.  She filed a report and nothing was done.  But who would have first hand knowledge of this report?  Remember the Aruban posters claimed to know nothing of this incident.  PVDS's friend at ALE would, that's who... so when after the 20 times before, something bad happened this time. So since there had been an assult (or attempted at any rate) where the perpatrator exposed himself they figured it was a great story that would make sense if anyone asked.  Keep in mind this story gets spun after the inital HI story where no one sees her on tape and the guards are found to not be guilty... so they had to come up with lie #2 - the shoe story, and all the little crazy details are to make the story seem more believable. JMO

I recall that it was said the Van Der Sloots owned a Condo/Time Share that they rented out. It was supposedly near the Marriott/Racquet Club area.

I remember that, and didn't some wonder if they could have taken her there?  Was it *kind of* near where they drained the pond?

I wish I could agree with you on this, but I can't. The 2:35 telephone call came from the beach-hotel area.  All the statements converge on the fisherman hut beach area. Croes, the Tatoo, Wever, the casino, were all in the area. The huts were broken into, and a cage, knife , and rope were taken. The gardener says he say Deepak, Joran, the car, in the area at about 2:50 am.
