Just saw Joe T on John Gibson program stating bascially the same OIV as the family, that this is total bunk and cannot even be said without a body.

So if this story is not for the benefit of Saint Joran, what is its purpose?

Let me guess the rest of Taco's blowharding.....

- Joran is innocent
- The case is closing soon for there still is no evidence beyond hearsay and last person seen with to connect Joran to this disappearance
- he's gonna kick A and take some names

i saw tacopina on fox as well.. rob pretty much summed it up.. he also said this case will be closed and joran will be free..
he does feel the cocaine and cardiac arrest is bullshit.. and said why don't this person come on tv.

Yes, Kermit, more is going on than meets the eye.  Taco was on FOX just now.  He totally pooh-poohed the story and the sources.  Said it wasn't true and didn't happen and JVDS is still innocent and had nothing to do with it.  He reiterated that Natalee could have been taken by martians or sold into sex slavery and that this story is just as ridiculous as those stories.  Huh!  Taco likes to spin his own story, that Joran is innocent, and any other stories are all hogwash.  Sure, Joey, sure.

Joe T calling out the source, saying let him come on and defend such a position.  Believe he made the statement of alcohol use only.

What is his angle?  Is he trying to protect Saint Joran's beach story.

I have taken to calling him Saint Joran as he seems to be the Patron Saint of Aruba since they are willing to sacrifice all to protect him and he represents all the male predators who go to the bars minutes before closing time to try to take advantage of the female tourists.  True some might want to be taken advantage of but they seem to specialize in those who are far more naive than that thence the lying about also staying at the same hotel.

I believe this is to counter something that is coming down the pike that we don't yet know about.

It is a preemptive strike approach.

It might come down to a PR firm trying to get Aruba out of the trouble it's in.
They would have the power to get a story on the air.

Well, someone pulled all their strings to get BOR to read this story on the air, and now other FOX reporters are reporting on the BOR story.  They are trying to get their mileage out of this.  We know it was not the Joran and PVDS camp.  So, who might be behind this?  The ATA?  The tourism people?  The ALE who might be slammed when the Dutch release their findings?  The government of Aruba who is on the hot seat right now?  I say, take your pick.  But, the source has a great deal of status to get FOX to report this with a straight face.

Mrs Red- I don't completely doubt that it's Dompig. I just question why the need to keep his name silent.

It could be that anytime someone hears his name they immediately think it's all a lie, so that could be a reason.

Could be a way to get his schtick out there and hide behind anonymity.

No one will believe the story if his name is attached to it. And if that is the case, more shame on BOR.

Yes, evidently he heard Dave today and was more or less quoting him.  What's up with this?

Maybe Aruba is so terrified of Beth's book they are trying to counter before it is released.  You may recall she once said they were bothering them with false leads so badly that she took to sleeping in her clothes because every night it was ALE doing some wild goose chase, etc.  Would wake them up and say Natalee had been seen here and there, was in a wreck, was at a hospital, etc. so they got little sleep.

Maybe they know if that is all told, most of which I think we have never heard, they are going to be exposed for what they are.

Then again, they may still fear what Beth and Jug said would shock the world.

I think the world is already shocked and this dirty underbelly and all the crime (See Murder and Crime Thread) is what they were talking about.  I know I am shocked.

So maybe Aruba is afraid of what Beth is going to say.  I see this as a preliminary book by Beth with maybe one later on when this is solved.

I hope they are right and she tells the world how she was treated by Aruba's finest.

REPORT: COLORADO POLICE NAME 'PERSON OF INTEREST' IN MISSING 'ESCORT MOM' CASE

Lester Ralph Jones, 56, has been identified as a person of interest in the disappearance of Paige Birgfeld, the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department said this morning.

“Through the process of our investigation Lester (Jones) has come to our attention,” said Heather Gierhart, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s department.

“Lester Jones is a person of interest.”

Jones’ CBI record shows 12 separate charges stemming from a Jan. 1, 1999, arrest by the Delta County Sheriff’s Department. The charges included two counts of harassment or false imprisonment; two counts of assault or menacing and second-degree kidnapping; a weapons offense; two misdemeanor traffic offenses; reckless endangerment; and false imprisonment.

On Jan. 13, 1999, Jones was arrested by the Paonia Police Department on suspicion of obstructing justice by intimidating a witness or victim and contempt of court for violating a restraining order.

On Feb. 9, 1999, Jones was arrested by the Delta County Sheriff’s Department on suspicion of contempt of court for violating a restraining order, false imprisonment, assault in the third degree, sexual assault and burglary.

On Oct. 10, 1999, Jones was sentenced to five years in the Colorado Department of Corrections for kidnapping in the second degree, according to the CBI.
