OT

ROCHESTER, Wash. -- A 39-year-old woman who police and family members have been searching for was found dead on Monday, and the victim's estranged husband turned himself into police later Monday, Thurston County Sheriff's deputies said.

Amy Mullins' body was found by family members and law enforcement personnel who were searching a field in the 20000 block of Carper Road S.W. in Rochester, which is near where Amy used to live with her husband, Steve Mullins.

Amy Mullins was last seen at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. A neighbor found Mullins' car outside her house in the 9100 block of James Road with the driver's side door open. Mullins' keys were in the ignition, her dog was in the car and her purse was sitting on her seat. Even a warm cup of coffee was left behind.

Deputies say no cause of death has been determined.

The couple's relationship deteriorated to the point where Amy finally moved out with her daughter, deputies said.

Steve Mullins was questioned early Monday morning, then turned himself into police in Grays Harbor County Monday afternoon. He is expected to be returned to Thurston County and be arrested on investigation of murder.

I think the cartoon is depicting Natalee on the day she arrived in Aruba.  They arrived on Thursday.  So the cartoonist is saying 3 days until...so that would be Friday, Saturday, Sunday.  She would be kidnapped and murdered on Sunday.

The cartoon implies she was given a drug in her drink and she was burried in a shallow grave.

The cartoon was posted in the paper by the cartoonist I believe on June 4, 2005.

I remember seeing two versions of the same cartoon... one with someone looking from a hotel window down upon what is happening and the other without the person in the window. I remember there was a big discussion on who it was in the hotel window.

Behind the palm tree on the beach were 2 or three then some others in hoods like the Vis. Team.

Shango, Simian and this cartoon I will never forget. J4N!

What if, for conversation, when you all get up in the AM. I had a dream last night that I was thinking of this case and the telephone that was lost was the one, if there is a call from Natalee, was the telephone it was done on. Also another part of it was that it was years ago and I was given a tour of the ALA and Dompig was just coming on board. They were boasting about his qualifications and I said, what until you see what happens in about 20 years and see if you think the same thing.

IBE - I don't think there were 2 versions, I just think we cropped and enhanced it so many times it made it seem like there was more than one.

Yes..stop eating before bed, LOL  Laughing

Interesting a Canadian who does Political Cartoons. I guess he followed the story and his cartoon was what he thought had happened based on what he read. Very intuitive of him as not much was reported but maybee he read about the Mattress and other thing that were reported before he made this cartoon.
