Two details I remember differently--not important in the big picture but check me out on this.

The reporter asked Paulus if he RECEIVED any other calls that night other than the one from Joran at eleven to pick him up.  Paulus said no, then a moment later said I might have MADE one.  I think the 6:30 a.m. call was from Paulus to the bus driver telling him to pick up Li'l Joran at the drive in movie place.

Secondly, it is JORAN and not Deepak who said They will see that sh*t if they find the girl.

Just something I think we have come to take wrong or backwards, etc. and wanted to correct that.  At least this is how I remember it.

Yes, I suspect word came down from AHATA/ATA to can Dompig right after he made that program where not only did he talk about cocaine and Natalee being seen with it in her possession but not her using it, etc. and also made those absolutely horrific statements about the moving of the remains.  Digging up and relocation two or three times I believe he said as though talking about parking a car.

TPTB had to know that interview would leave us all stunned as it did.  Also about that time young Michael Dompig admitted to lying about GVC and turns out Dave Holloway had observed him hitting on the tourist girls along with other pimps in their hotel.

Makes one wonder why he was "in charge" in the first place especially after his retracted confession statements.  No wonder this investigation went no where, look who was heading it for most of the time.

Dompig admitted he was the spokesman for ATA/AHATA, he was hired by Pesquera. He was towing their line, their frontman. The cocaine story came from ATA/AHATA. This was their story then, and it's their story now. Dave nailed it down the other day on Fox when he named the disgruntled police officers and Aruban Tourism members as the people pushing the cocaine story.

Considering Paulus has no alibi that we know of. And we don't even know when he left the casino, we are left wonder who could be his alibi - as related by Simian as the 5 th suspect.

Having been caught making phone calls when he said he didn't blows everything he says.

He was up and about the night in question. That is not up for debate. That is a fact.

An alibi so tight - could only be provided by someone with a sterling reputation.

Not many on that island with that type of reputation.

That is only from my memory and it has been a very long time but I do think they arrived mid afternoon.  I have never heard their flight described as leaving at any unusually early hour or anything to that effect.

For me it doesn't really matter, Thursday is a none issue to me, I travel I know what travel day is like. So do many, it is just so damn irritating to me me when the liars lie. I can't stand it. I just can't stand it.

I can see the young ladies arriving, hurrying to the room, putting on bathing suit and hitting the beach to get a tropical tan. And there is NOTHING wrong with that Julia....

There were two flights back so maybe two flights over as well.  Still, they had to ride a bus to Atlanta, fly to Aruba and get transported to their hotel.  I think this would all take several hours or most of the day.  Five days four nights is really deceptive for a long weekend IMO.

How long a period of time occurred between Michael Dompig's name being mixed up in all of this, and Dompig's dismissal?

Good question, we need to know when GVC was arrested. There are purported to be three reasons he was shown the door. First, his outlandish statements about Natalee using his dope dealing brother-in-law as a witness. Second, his ridiculous handling of the search at the dunes. Third, his son's entanglement with GVC. I don't know the timeline but it seems like all of this was coming together about the same time.

Yes, I agree that the cocaine story is AHATA/ATA but Dompig blew it the first time talking about moving dead bodies around as he did, too gristly and shocking to civilized people.  His cocaine message got lost in the shock of hearing about the ghoulish practices apparently considered normal on One Happy Island.

But you are right that Julia was trying to sell this theory from the start behind Beth's back.  They needed death by Natalee's own doing and cocaine is the drug usually self administered so fit the bill.  Also plentiful, etc.

He was trying to play it both ways. Joran and the Kalpoes were guilty as hell but she caused her own death. Sound familiar? Same song, second verse.

I think you are exactly right and to a degree, it works. The last thing people hear is typically what they remember.

That is exactly right. That's why having the old posts back brings so much new information forward, in a way.

what if they used ghb from CnCs and then used the liquid cocaine to "wake" their victims up?

To be clear, I am NOT buying the island mantra of she od on cocaine and had a heart attack, I am thinking more along the lines of it was given to her and they had to cover up "that shit" they would see... i.e. they gave her ghb in the club and coke afterwards... and then she fell and hit her head...

just trying to think outside the box a little... and tie in somethings that had been mentioned and how they might possibly fit in...

I don't think they cared to have their victims even conscious.  When they were out of it, it would be easy to have their ways with the victim - and less chance of I.D'ing them(not that they cared about that either...but)

What if liquid coke is an antedote to too much GHB?  It would certainly ahve the opposite effect.

KJ has returned to The Netherlands.  Too late to collect the forensic evidence and other hard evidence that should have been taken immediately from those last seen with Natalee the way it was the Seucirty Guards.

So someone else is in charge of prosecution now.  Does enough evidence still exist to prosecute?  Will they do so?
