Sounds like a dumping grounds for a serial killer?

There are three serial killers that have been caught in this area so far.  LE has said that if my son is not found during the upcoming search in January that we will have to consider the possibility of a serial type of situation.  However they said they think there is more than a 50% chance that my son could be found on the upcoming search.

Thanks

Found this on Christopher Pierce….the link at the bottom has more articles.

Remains found in Red River positively identified as those of Christopher Pierce
Created: February 13, 2008 11:50 AM     Modified: February 14, 2008 10:46 AM

Skeletal remains found in a pickup in the Red River two months ago have been positively identified as those of Christopher Michael Pierce, the young man who disappeared from a Taco Bell in Bossier City nearly five years ago, Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies said today.

The remains were identified by a forensic anthropologist in Baton Rouge who compared DNA from Pierce's parents, Sheriff's Department spokesman Ed Baswell said.

Pierce, 18, worked at the Taco Bell on Barksdale Boulevard when he disappeared in May 2003.

An arrest has been made in the case: Robert Cole, the 32-year-old Bossier Parish man who was initially arrested for the slaying of his wife at her south Bossier Parish home earlier this year.

Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen said investigators believe Teressa Cole was killed to keep her from telling what she knew about Pierce's death. Mrs. Cole knew details about Pierce's case that had not been made public, Deen said.

Pierce and Mrs. Cole worked together at the Taco Bell, investigators said.

Sheriff's detectives also are investigating two other Bossier cases. They said they have established no links to Cole but have received requests to investigate:

-- The death of Barksdale Air Force Base airman Jeffrey Timmons, who disappeared 10 years ago and whose remains were found in a car in the Red River in November. The car was 200 yards upstream from where Pierce's truck was later found.

-- The November 2000 murder of Connie Jo McKenzie, the night manager at the same Taco Bell where Pierce disappeared.

Are you talking about Gregory Alonzo Vice?  I have spoken to LE and he still has not been found and foul play is suspected.  Detective Owens said he checked and there does not seem to be any of the same people involved that he can find.

There is also a rumor going around that Robert Cole that man that murdered Christopher Michael Pierce, could be involved in Clinton's disappearance.  However LE is saying they don't have a connection in that case either.

Another possibility is Eric Mickelson, he killed Kristy O'Pry and has admitted involvement in several other cases but is only naming two of them.  Again LE has not found a link.

There is a rumor that Clinton may have left the house on Ward Lane to go to another house about 1/2 mile away....LE does not believe this is a valid lead.

There is a rumor that someone Clinton worked with on the oil rig has been arrested for murder in Southern LA.  It is rumored that he could be involved in Clinton's disappearance. Again LE does not believe this is a valid lead.

Is anyone seeing a pattern here?

Remains Identified as Those of Missing Teen

Wednesday, Feb 13, 2008 @02:44pm CST

Bossier Parish officials have confirmation that remains found in December are those of Christopher Michael Pierce.

Pierce went missing on May 18, 2003 after leaving his job at the Taco Bell on Barksdale Boulevard.  The case was cold until Pierce's Jeep Comanche was pulled out of the Red River in December, with remains inside.

Those remains were sent to LSU's F.A.C.E.S. Lab, who identified the remains this week.  Pierce's family has been notified.
Robert Cole faces a second-degree murder charge in connection to Pierce's death.  Cole was charged with Pierce's murder just days after being charged with two counts of first degree murder in the death of his wife, Teresa Cole, and her unborn child.

Investigators now believe Pierce was killed by Cole after he learned of an affair between Teresa Cole and Christopher Michael Pierce.  Teresa Cole was reportedly killed to keep her quiet about the murder.

Just thought I would post this. If true, it most likely means he had nothing to do with Clinton. Sure wish there were some leads or news or something

Nut44x4 - I am not sure.  I received an email from relatives of Mr. Cole who indicated that it would be smart for me to check into this further.  They believe that Teresa Cole made a habit of seeing other men.  They thought I should check into the possibility of Mr. Cole being involved in Clinton's disappearance.  I also spoke to friends of Teresa who said that they wondered about Robert Cole's involvement in Clinton's disappearance when they first heard about it. I have seen a number of comments posted from other people suggesting that Clinton may have been involved with Teresa after Christopher disappeared.   I do know that the Cole's live only a short distance from where Clinton was living and the person/family where Clinton was last seen also owns the trailer park that the Cole's live in.  I have no way of knowing if there is a connection here. I don't know if Teresa or Robert Cole knows/knew my son but I think it is something that should be checked into since it has been brought up by several different people at this point.

Thanks

Carolyn.... wanted you to know that vms posted in the Justin Gaines thread last week that the same PI is looking into Justin and Jason Roark's disappearances. Also wanted any info that may be connected to I-20 posted here for later reference.

That is good news....I hope if there is one PI on at least a couple of the cases that maybe he/she will find out if they are somehow connected.  Thank you for your update!

Carolyn

Jason Roark's remains have been found---RIP Jason, you can go home now..........

Skull Found In Estes Road Yard

Authorities believe remains might be those of soldier missing in 2006
Morgan County investigators are hoping a gruesome discovery may lead to closure in the missing person case of a former U.S. Army soldier.
A family pet on Saturday delivered a human skull to the front yard of a Estes Road family. Since then authorities have instituted a search for the rest of the remains, including attaching a GPS unit to the family pet to track its routines.
On November 9, 2006 Jason Michael Roark, 26, a former special operations soldier with the U.S. Army, was reported missing from his Loganville home. Roark’s abandoned Honda was discovered by a private investigator at the east–bound rest area of Intestate 20 in Morgan County in December.
After that discovery a large contingent of U.S. Army Reservists and local authorities combed the woods near the rest area in an attempt to find Roark or his remains. Those searches failed.
Saturday’s discovery is approximately one mile from the rest area. According to Capt. Chris Bish, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the skull was collected and sent to the state crime lab where dental records will be cross referenced in an attempt to ascertain identity.

On Tuesday cadaver dogs led by Tracy Sargent, a K9 search and rescue specialist, were at the wooded area searching for remains. Sargent said she had eliminated several areas were Roark may have disappeared. “I don’t know where Jason is but I can tell you where he’s not,” she said.
 ::snipping2::
Bish said authorities are interested in finding the rest of the remains, in part, to determine identity and to determine if a crime may have been committed. “We need to determine if it was a suicide or a homicide,” he said.
