When reading archives I found a post by arubagirl where she stated that Anita would not have to answer any questions or give details that would be negative towards Paulus...I'm just wondering if the same would hold true with the younger sons....will have to try to find the post....if it was front page...will let Klaas or San know for a copy & paste....

I think there were and still are some in ALE that truly wanted and expected this to be solved right away.  They were the ones that go to work each day thinking that things are normal. They had no clue as to what lies beneath the calm exterior of Aruba.  I am speaking more of the corruption than the drugs and gambling and stuff.  You don't have to be too smart to see what is happening on the surface...it's when you look under the rug that you see all the roaches.

Lala's, I agree.  I think Dave thought so, too.  So, how are those honest and hard-working men and women looking at themselves in the mirror nowadays?  If we assume they know what happened and witnessed this coverup, then they have not spoken out.  They have allowed this shameful mockery of injustice to continue and continue.

I find this to be a convenient excuse by Aruba.  If it wasn't a law then in Aruba it's a law now.

I'm outraged and disgusted by the behavior of all the people in Aruba who watched every step of this coverup and did nothing.  They knew of the affair between Paulus and Janssen and turned a blind eye.  They knew of Joran's raping and murdering and made excuses for him.  They know of much more that goes on that we are not aware and they do nothing.  This angers me.

I've only had a chance to read bits and pieces today. Is it pretty well established that Janssen was having an affair with PVDS? I know someone told Rob, and people were asking him questions earlier today, but that was the last I read about it.

No, actually we have not seen any definitive evidence of a PVDS and Janssen affair.  However, Rob has explained that a source of his on Aruba told him this and he believes him.  So, I guess it really rests on Rob's credibility.  It's kind of like whether or not Lorenzo is PVDS's illegitimate son.  If you believe Jossy's credibility, the you probably believe it.  If not, then you don't.  However, I do think that considering all that taken place in the last two years, both are likely and would not surprise me.
