Well, after Big Hammer all I can say is Bravo.Morning Monkeys. So many missing and dead on aruba,a safe island,eh.I think not>As a monkey, and a Tiger,Paulus does nothing for me. I think there were a series of rapes, with main show at the sloot house, and the final act at the rocks.they may have given her XTC,to stimulate he at some point.

I tend to agree tiger.  If she died from any kind of drug overdose WHY WOULD THERE BE BLOOD EVIDENCE in the car.

I also think that JVDS was also taking XTC and that is why he got out of control and at the very least beat her.

Objection to Glen Thode Memorandum attached to Kalpoe Response

McGraw asks the Court to disregard the memo of Glen Thode attached to Deepaks' Response because Thode does not qualify as an expert in criminal law procedure, he didn't state reasoning for his conclusion that Deepak could face prosecution for violation of Rule 45, and he didnt even give the text of Rule 45, and memo is unsigned undated and unverified.

McGraw Reply to Kalpoe Opposition to Motion to Compel

McGraw asks Court to dismiss Deepak's suit against him because he has refused to turn over documents requested in discovery and his Aruban attorney (Koch) submitted an affidavit saying that he would not release the docs even if Deepak requested them. The argument is that Deepak cant sue Phil for defamation and make all these allegations then turn around and refuse to provide the documents that Phil would need to prepare a defense. I think it's a great argument and Phil will likely prevail on this unless Deepak has a change of heart and decides to produce the documents.

~WE LOVE YOU PEACHES~

« Reply #422 on: July 26, 2007, 10:53:06 AM »

Lest you all worry that I am truly a terminal case, let me tell you why I expect a miracle.  A couple Sunday mornings ago, I was channel surfing and landed on Joel O’Steen.  I only caught the last couple minutes of his show but my ears perked up when he said “don’t believe the ‘never’.”  He told a story about earlier in his career when he was trying to raise funds for a building.  He heard a lot of “never” but chose not to believe the “never” and went forward, living with gratitude and hope.

We should live with an attitude of gratitude, hope and expectancy.  It’s better to live with hope and expectancy than with despair and discouragement.  Therefore, we should stay hopeful, make preparations and thank God in expectation.  Keep the vision in front of you and don’t settle.  Some people are content to wait for God to answer their prayers rather than thanking God that the answer is on the way.  One needs to go from waiting (passive) to expecting (active).

If I believe that God is always with me, I have to believe He knows everything about me and my cancer.  He is the only one who knows the number of my days.  He knows the prayers on the hearts on my family, friends, co-workers and my beloved SM family.  I have to trust that His answer is coming… in His time, not mine.  I have to wait expectantly.

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” – Jeremiah 29:11.

Seems like a simple concept.  Live expectantly.  Expect a miracle.  Thank God the answer is on the way.

(I put this in the RAH RAH thread in the Lounge as well.)

When I first said I expect a miracle, it slipped by me that some might worry I was lining up for a dirtnap....soon.  NOT!  I may not always feel terrific but I don't look "sick".  If I didn't tell ya I have cancer, you'd never know.  I've lost about 40 lbs. over the last year and a half that I didn't need anyway and much of that was due to surgery and chemo.  I don't recommend chemo as a dieting strategy.  (It's easier to just eat less and move more.)

So what if I have to have some chemo?  One round down and five to go.  Already went 18 rounds.  What's another six?  What's the alternative?

I'm still in the fight.

Expecting my miracle.

Back to working and lurking.  Smoochies to all.

I believe that Glen Thode is just some dude maybe a lawyer in Aruba who wrote a letter to the judge in the slander case stating that Aruba has some ridiculous law (article 45 or some nonsense) that Deepak is trying to use to his advantage.  Basically the law says Deepak doesnt have to share any information he doesnt want to.

Morning, Monkeys,

At one time, we had the name of the concrete company at RWV.  Granny Toad was one of a team of really good researchers and thinkers.  She lasted longer than most of us, LOL.  I believe that someone actually posted a copy of the invoice, too.

So much lost with computer crashes, mystery deletions and time.  Guess that's the idea so as to make this impossible to prosecute.

But until that concrete is dug up, I will never consider the Sloot compound as having been truly searched even though I will readily admit there may be nothing there.

Not one bit of this investigation has been done accordng to anything I have ever seen before.  Not one!

all roads keep leading back to the Sloot house and Pauls involvement.  A couple of things that seal the deal for me......

Paulus sweating episode with bet and Greta......some kind of evidence was in that house and he was afraid that might see it

Anita knowing what Nat's panties looked like.....sporter did not tell her, I think she found them at the house

Paulus in the Casino with Nat earlier in the evening

Search warrant denied for the main house

the new concrete slab....either the body or some kind of evidence bured there

and too many others to mention

Very interesting that Deepak's lawyer Koch would not listen to his client.  Last I heard if a lawyer was taking my hard earned drug money he better be listening to my orders.  Goes to show you who's the boss over the Kalpoes.

The other night I was watching one of those true crime type shows on cable.  A woman had been missing for several years and a tip or something led the cops to a suspect that happened to be a builder.  The guy had apparently built a town home or such about the time the woman disappeared.  They focused on the concrete floor of the garage for some reason.  They scanned over the floor with some type of sonar equipment until they found an area that looked suspicious.  They then saw-cut the floor and began to excavate.  In that case they found nothing, but it was interesting that they had a procedure in place for such investigations.

We don’t really know what all was done at the vds property.

Morning monkeys.

Peaches!   Hugs and love coming your way.

If everyone doesn't mind I would like to revisit something I read either yesterday or the day before.  It was concerning when Natalee died.  I think maybe it was Hammer's post, but the person was talking about Joran already knowing by the next day that Natalee was missing and dead.  Does anyone remember that?  I would like to know where we obtained that info about her on the beach and drowning or something like that. TIA

Aruban law does not trump California law in Cal.I think NAH may have fallen trying to escape from the sloot house. She may have been hit by the bat of jvds, when she fought the two of them. They disgust and sicken me.Time is right, for NAH to come home, and justice(whatever) that may be.IIRC,Dahmer was confined to a mental hospital, woops, now a cemetary.I have no problem, with that at all.

I don't care what the laws are in Aruba when you are here in the U.S. using our judicial system for your own benefit.  He can shove that Aruba law where the sun don't shine.

I posted the Diario article on this one on the M&C thread yesterday.

http://www.amigoe.com/english/   07/26/2007

Quote
Supermarket owners shot in the leg during a hold-up

ORANJESTAD – A Chinese supermarket in Mabon was attacked with a weapon last night.  The two owners were shot in the leg during the hold-up.

The incident took place around 22:00.  Three armed persons with masks entered the building of Famia Supermarket and demanded the contents of the cash register.  When, according to them this didn’t happen fast enough, they shot on the owners.  One of the owners also received a blow in the face.  The attackers then left the building without the booty and disappeared in the bushes.

The police patrol from San Nicolas, Sta. Cruz, and Oranjestad and the police helicopter searched the area for the attackers.  The police arrested two suspects; the third one is still being looked for.

The owner of the supermarket and his wife were taken to the medical center in San Nicolas for treatment.
