CBB - I think you may need to resize the avatar in photobucket to avatar size so it doesn't get squished  Laughing

You can resize Mrs. Reds in your photobucket and it should fix her.

If you resize in photobucket it will look like this - smaller but less squished:

JORAN' BOOK

CHAPTER 9

FRIDAY, JUNE 3, 2005

Deepak declares:
P128

We stayed there till around 22:00. When Satish and I went to the car Joran and Freddy walked with us. We stayed and talked briefly. In this
conversation we had spoken again about the sport shoes of Joran, how we would arrange that. Freddy had already proposed to buy Joran new ones. He had asked Joran if he had arranged that.

there is also something in one of Deepaks statements where he refers to talking in Papimnto(?) to one of the men that was with Beth (I assume Charles Croes) and he mentions sport shoes
and then drops the subject.    I THINK

OF,
You are correct.  Deepak did say something to one of the people with Beth the first morning at the HI about sport shoes.  Not sure what language he was using nor to whom he spoke but he did then try to take it back.

So I have always thought they had this shoe alibi worked out in advance to use should something bad happen having had twenty times before to think of possibilities.

Why would Deepak have been saying shoes that first morning Beth and delegation were present?  Remember the shoes were at FH and the story was they dropped Natalee off at the HI so would have contradicted the story at hand.

Very odd, his doing that.

Other than the Holiday Inn fabrication ... I believe that each of Joran's accounts regarding how he got home that fateful morning as well as the insertion of the missing shoes has everything to do with implicating Deepak/Satish as being the last person/s alone with Natalee Holloway.

Good Night Monkeys ... for real this time.   Smile

Janet

1.  "I WALKED HOME".

Deepak/Satish returned to beach when Joran contacted Deepak and implied he was in the process of walking home after leaving Natalee at the beach sleeping.

2.  "DEEPAK AND SATISH DROPPED ME OFF AT HOME AND LEFT WITH NATALEE".

Joran is implying that Deepak and Satish were the last persons observed with the missing 18 year old American citizen.

3.  "DEEPAK PICKED ME UP AT THE BEACH AND THEN RETURNED TO LOOK FOR MY SHOES."

Joran is implying that Deepak could have encountered Natalee Holloway at the Marriot Beach where she had been left alone a short time previous

4.  "SATISH PICKED ME UP AT THE BEACH AND THEN RETURNED TO LOOK FOR MY SHOES."

Joran is implying that Satish could have encountered Natalee Holloway at the Marriot Beach where she had been left alone a short time previous.

COSBY: So what does that say to you about Joran Van Der Sloot? He's pointing the finger at your—at least one of your clients being some—playing some role here.

KOCK: Yes. Well, he's been doing that since early in the investigation, so it doesn't amaze me.

DAVID KOCK: ….. Oh, yes. To start it, they didn’t pick him up. Yes? So that’s a flagrant lie, if you say that. And he’s saying that that’s the story, that they—they—that he called Deepak, and afterwards, Satish came and picked him up, yes? That’s a lie.

Second of all, he indicated that, yes, he left his shoes on the beach, but then Satish would say, No, come, I’ll drop you all the way to your home, like, 2:30, 3:00 o’clock in the morning, then I’m going to come and look for your shoes. I mean, how logical is that, you know? It’s a beach. I don’t even know where your shoes would be. And then why would I take you home, OK, and I would come and look for your shoes?

CBB - no, I guess it makes a copy on the SM server and it didn't correct.  Mrs. Red will have to upload it again.

Keep that in mind though, resize before posting them.

Janet - exactly!

Or to try to prove he was ever at the beach.  Maybe he left somebody's shoes there to try to prove he was somewhere that he wasn't.  Maybe he put them there the next day when he walked the route.

Whatever his reason, something up with those shoes.

This should bring Robots out to say shoes.   Cool
