Just found this thread, love it and yes thanks for the memories!  Os, actually met Humperdink once way back when, he was past his prime then, but still popular and performed in a small club back home that a girlfriend sang at. Casa, Brown Eyed Girl is what we call our DD!  Saw Simon and Garfunkel early 80's at Dodger Stadium - awesome concert. Bee Gees - Words, World, To Love Somebody and New York Mining Disaster. CSN&Y - Teach Your Children Well - DD and I dueted last summer in Columbus at their reunion tour! And my all time favorite, Rod Stewart - Reason to Believe.  Can someone please youtube that for me.  TIA

Just for you, Mum!

Oh, Mum...my DH just bought a Righteous Brothers Reunion CD and has played it over & over & over....it's good and he loves it (obviously) but there's nothing like the original.  This CD has a 6 minute version & a shorter one, which play back to back because one is on the end the other at the beginning...

Sharon, I'm thinking that you and I are about the same age.  I have a really short story I wrote about one of our first girl/boy parties.  It was about the time Bobby Vinton was popular.  I will share my story if you would like.
