San We were staying on Patong Beach.  I believe there were 200 people killed there.  Only thing left standing was the Holiday Inn in middle of the island.  All the dive shops, small beach motels gone.  All the boats, the tee shirt sellers, gone.  I think of the people that took us out in boats, served our food and wonder about them and their families.  It was heart breaking.

This is what she calls things put out by the Aruban Disinformation Campaign that take root and blossom into something that is believed, at least by some.

And it started before Beth even arrived in Aruba and as we can see, continues until this day.

I thought I remembered Jossy saying (on Dana?) that there was blood in a Sloot vehicle.  I can't find it anywhere...so I could be wrong...

I remember that too,I think it was in a interview with Greta.

Ok,I found this but I don't know if the web addy for Greta is where this statement by Jossy is or if it's from MSNBC.
What ever became of the stains in Deepak's car determined to be blood?

The "Diario," a local daily newspaper, is reporting that a human blood sample found in a car at the residence of one of the teens in custody — the 17-year-old son of a high- ranking island judiciary official — is now being sent to the U.S. and will be tested for a possible match to Natalee, whose mother gave a blood sample to investigators.

Muffy that is the worst of this tragedy.  When the ocean was sucked out all the children and adults near ran out to gather shells etc and did not realise it meant a monsterwave was coming back in.
Adding to my post about the tsunami :  700 kph = 420 mph
and 37 metres high = 120 feet high.
Although I have seen a lot of video and TV coverage of the wave it still so hard to imagine how high it really was.  Terrifying.
So glad you came home when you did.
