Simian: Last clue re: Babylonians was your best so far. Babylonian culture is known for Hammurabi, among other things. He was the sixth king of this dynasty was Hammurabi (1792-1750 BC) who made Babylon the capital of a vast empire and is best remembered for his code of laws. (Ask Jeeves)

Simian’s Babylonians (sounds nice, huh?) are the Aruban authorities. PVDS knows his way “around the palace” of law, so the Aruban police have to set him up to get around the freedom from testifying between JVDS and PVDS.

Simian appears to put a lot of importance on the "package from the Hague" or the evidence taken from the cars and sent to Netherlands for testing.  We know that Karin Janssen hand carried this evidence.  I firmly believe there was blood and/or bodily fluids in at least one of the three cars that Simian references.  However, any samples sent to the Netherlands came back chocolate/cleaning fluid, so we were told.  To me, this is the key to the whole coverup.  The samples were either switched or deliberately taken from a car that Natalee was not in that night.  Either way, Karin Janssen is at the middle of this, along with her lover-boy Paulus.  This is the key to this case.  Prove this deception and the house of cards comes tumbling down.

I don't remember for sure....but wasn't it Deepak who had one of his cars put in long term storage for *special* cleaning and replacement of inside parts...I'll see if I can find that info.

the 4 wheeler was not used to take a body anywhere...but it certainly could have been used to take some evidence, such as clothes, video, etc etc etc to a remote location and burned or buried out in the middle of nowhere....

Seems under Dutch law, a confession from extensive interrogation (10+ hours per day, sometimes) is admissible. In states, we would try to have kept out of evidence as involuntary. Could confession from interrogation only (no beating), from JVDS, for instance, be used against him and PVDS?

It’s exactly because he had everything that made him do this. She was on her way home and because he is accoustomed to having his way, he wanted her - as soon as, and anyway, possible. Spoiled, no real discipline growing up, encouraged to think he is the centre of the universe and it has all come to a head.

It sure does. How's about Anita, running in front of the cop car after being denied access to visit Joran. She had the nerve to stand in front of the car he was being transported in, to force them to stop. That way she got to see Joran, and give him a hug. She was denied visitation, but took it upon herself to see him regardless of what the law said. That entire family sux.
