Of Joran in Jail?  I remember that video...but I don't remember it being Rita.....maybe it was....I do remember the warden was fired for allowing it.  I remember it was a woman...he was reading....funny I don't remember her voice... in fact I can't picture who it was at all.
It was Michele somethingorother. Freddie Maduro was that warden. Within hours of the video's release Maduro was suspended and MSNBC was threatened with a massive fine for every time they showed it. You see...the Aruban *system* can work fast, and effectively...if motivated.

And Maduro was on air saying "Paul, I'm really sorry....I know how angry you are...."  Yeh, Paulus is a average joe on that island....phew...

I remember that Buckeye.  Seems as though Paulus might have a temper like sonny boy.  It was Michele Koszinski.

Thanks, igsigs, I can see it in my mind, but whoever that female reporter was I don't remember her, she  is not on any major network that I know of. I guess if Aruba made that threat to MSNBC, Mrs. Red is out of luck....we won't be seeing that video soon.

I know, but I can wish...

For those that can't see this bridge thing going on, FOX is trying to cover this rescue of  someone in a car.  I have never seen anything so mangled and not have an earthquake be the cause.

Anna is right.  It's getting dark and those people are in that water.  There is a reporter there telling stories of people jumping in the water trying to rescue people.  It is very scary looking.

Major Freeway Bridge Collapses in Minnesota
Wednesday, August 01, 2007

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,291790,00.html
MINNEAPOLIS —  A freeway bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed Wednesday, sending many cars into the water, injuring 20 to 30 people, authorities tell FOX News.

Tons of concrete have collapsed and people are injured. Survivors are being carried up the riverbank.

This bridge connects downtown Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota.

The entire span of the 35W bridge collapsed about 6:05 p.m. where the freeway crosses the river near University Avenue.

Some people are stranded on parts of the bridge that aren't completely in the water.

A tractor-trailer is on fire at the collapse scene.

In the book Joran never mentions Maduro by name, but numerous mentions of his title. It stands out as a purposeful omission.

Granny talks of a Maduro interview where he says he always knew Joran would end up at KIA. I believe the transcript no longer exists...anybody remember that comment?

Shep just said it was at least 30 years old.  Those people standing on the other bridge need to think about that one!

An American, Jaime Cocayne, was found murdered on St. Johns, Virgin Islands, in June,  his parents are angry that they are not solving  the crime and are going down there themselves, they hired their own investigators.
Yikes....I found this about his murder:

Wow,there were a few posts at tripadvisor but when I went there they said they were deleted. Shocked
http://cbs3.com/local/local_story_212224053.html

Fox had a segment on this case on John Gibson's slot this afternoon and tied it to Natalee's case. This victim's parents smell a rat saying the St. John's authorities are giving them the runaround. Same things we have witnessed, FBI only allowed in when asked, etc.
Thanks DH for the info.

They may re-run the video tonite on other Fox programs. If this case grows legs we will be seeing a lot more of it and Natalee's as a comparison. Doesn't do any of the Caribbean any good to see these cases go unsolved, especially in the unsavory way Natalee's was handled by Aruba.
I agree with that.Maybe Red will do a front page post about this case.I'll catch the show later tonight as FOX seems to repeat their shows.
