I wasn't able to post yesterday, but late last night I was reading some of the thread and did not get a good feeling.

So...am I right in assuming that Lorenzo has been released due to some type of 'mediation' (translated - plea deal)?

Even if the Dutch uncover anything significant it doesn't mean Aruba is required to act on it?

The TES search has been pushed out til October?

If I understand everything from yesterday, this ain't soundin' so good.

I wasn't able to post yesterday, but late last night I was reading some of the thread and did not get a good feeling.

Morning Minkeys.  I can't possibly catch up on the last 5 or 6 days of posts.  Has there been NO word on anything going on in Aruba?  



p.s.  I read on the last thread about Dutch involvement in world affairs.  I'm not that familiar with any of it, although it was interesting to read some of the debate.  I will add, however, that the Dutch sent soldiers to help us during Katrina.

Tell that to the dutch troops who served in Iraq (like my brother in law), tell the dutch troops who now serve in Afghanistan, tell that to the dutch special forces hunting Osama in the hills of Afghanistan or our army/navy/airforce around the world fighting the war on Terror.

And FYI, the internal problems of Aruba are not something the Netherlands (because there is no Holland) can fix or alter.
Thank-you for that. It seems people are a little gloomy this morning. There are still a few of us here that do think the Dutch are going to solve this -- we just have to be patient. After 2+ years, they cannot come in and simply wrap things up in a few months. They must do everything 100% accurate and get things right. It is very hard to follow this case and not be frustrated -- I certainly understand the pessimism here.

I want to ask Ramm,why did the Aruban's ask the Dutch investigators into the case if nothing they find,do or say will have any bearings on this case?What was the point of bringing them in?
