Can it be confirmed indeed that a new batch of closed door, closed system bureaucrats and apparachiks are headed to economic disaster area formerly known as "Aruba"?

What good will it do??  Aruba's system is so backward and so ignorant...and not having a jury system, but leaving decisions in the hands of one (or rarely at most 3) judge, will just never serve the quest for fair decisions....only lays the groundwork for tyrannical and bribed rulings.

Will Natalee catch a break with this new bunch?  We will have to wait and see.  I'm setting here trying to think of a way that they could worse???

Then again WE do not understand their system, which is true (and thank GOD we do not have to live under it).

I still want to know when  statements are made by suspects that more or less say "YES I lied when giving my statement as a witness" nothing has and apparently cannot be done to them as far at the LAW is concerned.

Not to mention the statements pertaing to business establishements and repeat viiloatins of the law that they allowed to occur.

LIke I said maybe Natalee and Aruba itself might catch a break from this new bunch??

I posted the article a couple of days ago I think by Jossy that said Paulus GAVE Joran the porn he was showing in The Netherlands to the journalist.  According to that article, which I found at Getagrip's site, Paulus said it would help Joran stay awake in class.

So it would seem that Paulus shares this very high opinion of the value of porn.

I think every bit of it should be illegal as it dehumanizes mostly females and largely promotes violence against them, a very warped and one-sided industry.  So many violent criminals have a history of this as well as cruelty to animals.

Whom do we know who has BOTH these traits???  A real winner, that one.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that Paulus deliberately did that as a control issue until he could get his ducks in a row...Pauus is a control freak in my opinion...and he would be at his peak in the control department after this date.

Ono - I think the virus was deliberate too.  If Joran downloaded it with the videos, it would have shown up at that time.

Let's suppose it was Paulus viewing the porn and not Joran and Joran is taking the slam for that just like he is for the crime which his father committed against Natalee.  Surely Joran was not surfing websites for stock quotes.  The only stock he knows is craps, laundromat or a pharmacy.

I could accept that fact that it was Paulus...not hard to believe.  Shades of Scott Peterson.  I think that is really what Joran was referring to in that Current Affair interview where he says that he will tell the truth about what happened at some point in time...he's protecting his dad, in my opinion.

I can assure anyone, having been to beaches and even the Mediterranean, that the panhandle and gulf coast of the southeast is prettier than any beach I have ever seen anywhere and this includes all of them and Aruba.  Plus, you do not find the prevalence of mugging, drugging and pimping in that area.

All the comforts of home, security plus luxury, world-class sugar white sands, and turquoise waters.....last but not least,  being under the umbrella of the jurisdiction of America's laws.  We CARE what happens to our visitors.

Speaking of the stamps, I just got an email today from that website saying that I could NOT use the photo of Natalee.

So if you use one, use the one with Natalee's photo.  If you create one, don't add Natalee's photo.

Maybe the reason Greta thinks Joran is telling the truth is because telling the truth or telling a lie makes no difference to him.  He just figures whatever comes out of his mouth at the time is okay.  You can tell when people are lying because they feel uncomfortable.  He doesn't, he is very comfortable with his lies.

I think I would have respected his parents more if they came out and said Joran was in therapy for lying.  At least it would look like they were on top of things.

What we can learn from this document is that Joran indeed was already home around 3:30 a.m. when he send a MSN message to Deepak around 3.34 a.m. And indeed was on a soccer site and a pornsite.

That he was on the computer wround 22.33 that night he went to C&C.

That his brother was on the computer between 02.34 - 03.37.

So from 1am when they left C&C until about 3:20 Joran was with Natalee.
If Joran is home at 3:30 and its a 5 minute ride from the beach he would have left Natalee at least by 3:20. So Joran was with Natalee for about
2hours and 20 minutes. Do we have all of that time accounted for?
So Natalee could not be on that 2:38am video.

As one who lives in the Panhandle I have to second that. Our sugary white sands and aquamarine waters off the Gulf Coast is simply beautiful. And the waters are warm not ice cold. The sand is so clean it squeeks when you walk in it but beware to wear sandles of sorts, the sand is HOT from the reflection of the sun because it is so white. <brags a little>
