This "new" story says the girls were not promiscuous just wanted to party, so boy #1 story departs with boy #2 story.
Having said all that, however, the pictures that Dan posted of Natalee dancing there were "posted" per the camera 12:30 and supposedly the people who took the pictures were sitting right next to the MB kids.
This is all very, very confusing.

He laughs at the “late response” from the Dutch and mocks their use of F-16s. “It’s like we’re under attack from Curacao”...probably a two sided statement indicating Curacao’s strong ties with the Dutch and the “capital” of the Netherland Antilles.
He knows everything is a sham. He knows the status quo must be exposed, and now is the time to do it. He wants Natalee to come home alive; but, more importantly, he wants to break the story. He wants to expose the truth. Natalee’s story will break the back of

res - law on that island is so .. ah,..um..what is the word......ha ha....FLUID! I figure if they can pick you up, destroy your bedroom and clothes, slam you into handcuffs and cart you unceremoniously off to jail for no other reason than --well for no reason other than they are having a bad day..then there's no telling what they can use in court for evidence - ?court? - I wonder what a trial must be like on that place. Hope I never have to find out. Whenever I hear PR people explaining Aruban law, it's like hearing it "for the first time" - every time. For such a small island they sure have convoluted law.

re Dave Holloway - now I did see an interview of Natalee's dad where he was real specific about Natalee exiting CC's with Joran, getting into the silver car with only 1 Kalpoe brother in the car, driving. That was the first time I had heard the theory of "cab" - and that was put forth by Dave Holloway. - he has come across as the most thorough and low key person so far - and it's just so hard he wouldn't have had his facts straight before making those statements on TV that night.
Don't know what to think now with Dan's info after listening to DH, and I can't remember where I had heard the description that she went out of CC's, went back in, and then was seen with Deepak holding her quite directly by the forearm as if guiding her out of CC's and around the corner of the building - but I heard that and did not read that.

There is also a person whose daughter was "going to Aruba" but did not because she had met Joran on line and her parents felt she had been threatened by him.
Her trip to Aruba was canceled and her parents have spoken with Beth about the "on-line threats." Not sure exactly what they were or if they were just comments of a sordid conversation.

Sometimes it is easy to leave out details early on. Having been a witness to an incident once, I recall that I left out a detail that (as the case turned out) had no bearing on it, but right after I left the courhouse, I recalled it.
I went to the attorney and told him. He said my friend who had witnessed it with me had told that part of it, and he wondered why I did not. I just simply forgot it. It did not affect the outcome anyway, just shows how easy it is to forget something.
