Hi everyone and thank you for the beautiful wishes. I'm really touched.

I was very, very surprised.

San, how did you know it was my birthday? I told only one person who is not a Scared Monkey. That person must be in touch with you, right?

Anyway, thank you all for the birthday wishes. I am now 63 and cannot believe it. Time goes so fast. When my mother was dying at 94, she said her whole life went by so quickly, like in the blink of an eye.

So, everyone enjoy life and all the blessings you have at this moment.

I had to buy a new cell phone as my old Nokia's network is being phased out. I got a red Samsung SYNC flip phone. That's my present to myself. I still can't figure out how to use it.

I spent my day at the beach reading some magazines, I ate my tuna sandwich, and then I listened to Fleetwood Mac on my iPod. A wonderful day. You wouldn't believe how dark my tan is. Just in time for my HS Reunion next weekend.

Thanks again for all your wishes. I'm so tickled.

I am so sorry I missed your birthday, I'm so glad you had an enjoyable day and a good birthday ! You'll have to write us a story about your reunion, those events always turn out to be funny or great stories to tell !
