All an ex parte motion means it that it is held without the other side... and they are not going to give the Plaintiff's less time to respond to Motions.. this is a motion to say that the Plaintiff's have less time to respond ... example 15 days instead of 30, looking solely at the title of the motion....

It looks to me that on the 24th -- only the motion to compel the Kalpoes was "continued" -- ( as in no ruling yet).
On the 30th (yesterday) -- the judge accepted the "motion to dismiss"  (no actual ruling on it's merit yet)

-- no future hearings expected yet until judge rules on motion to dismiss.
(but, hey -- I'm no lawyer)

We need someone with California law experience to explain what this actually means.  To me it, by saying NO FUTURE HEARING it sounds like the CASE has been dismissed.  Others are saying only the Jamie Skeeters involvement, I'm not so sure.  In the past there have always been future hearing dates listed:

I don't know CA law... (disclaimer) but this doesn't mean it has been dismissed there is a ruling pending... there is just no further hearings or motions filed at the moment.... it can be dismissed still though..... and very well may be, but right now there isn't a ruling issued.

you are almost there... continued just means that one side or the other could not appear in Court and both sides agreed to wait for another date... the Court will reschedule a hearing if necessary... in a motion to compel, the opposing side could have filed a motion stating they would comply but needed more time... and then a motion to continue could be granted.... 

if they don't comply then another motion to compel and ask for a hearing can be filed...

they may have filed the "continuance" based upon the motion to dismiss... to see if they would have to comply...

TY... that ruling will probably take it's decision from all of these, at least in part....that is just a guess... I could be wrong.
