Thanks for the clarification.  I too thought we were told that the case had been dismissed.  I'm glad Beth still has a chance.

I was certainly under the impression that the "wrongful death" suit was thrown out as well! I thought it was "jurisdictional".

Maybe they are appealing it?  I really don't know.  Just noticed the hearing in December and that it was still listed as pending.

We were discussing Boca Mahos the other day. Here is a great photo. (2005)

Thanks Nut.

All of the photos are really great -- this guy must be a professional.

That helicopter shot of 'California Point' -- kind of creepy to think....

Not positive, but I think it was back in June 2007 that we heard the Twitty vs. Kalpoe case was dismissed.  I don't think we ever saw anything from the court saying it was dismissed though or if we did I don't remember.

June '07 -- about the time of the last disinformation campaign. Did we actually see it was "dismissed" or did we just believe MF and company?

They may have lost, or it was dismissed for the jurisdiction.  I'm wondering though if it's been appealed?

After thinking some more -- maybe the ruling in June was that the Holloway/Twittys could not "attach" the wrongful death suit to the Dr. Phil suit. Maybe Beth, filed a whole different suit after that.

This is what was reported back then:

Holloway wrongful-death suit dismissed
Judge in L.A. tosses suit filed by parents over teen who vanished in Aruba

Updated: 4:54 p.m. PT June 1, 2007
LOS ANGELES - A judge on Friday dismissed a wrongful-death lawsuit against two brothers from the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba that was filed by the parents of an American teenager who vanished during a vacation there.

The parents of Natalee Holloway cannot sue in Los Angeles because the case has no California connection and the courts lack jurisdiction over the brothers, Superior Court Judge Charles C. Lee said.

The teen's parents, Elizabeth Ann Twitty of Alabama and Dave E. Holloway of Mississippi, will decide whether to appeal, said their attorney, John Q. Kelly.

Thanks -- the original suit was by both Dave and Beth ---- is only Beth alone filing the "appeal"?

Well, that is from back in June.  The "pending" and the future court date of December 2007 was there prior to the Kalpoe hearing on August 30th.  I'm wondering if JQK has appealed their wrongful death suit.
