Sandy - I am praying for your aunt that she will feel peace and love and not suffer.  I will also pray for strength for your family at this very difficult time.

Nonesuche:  Please know that your hubby, you and your family are constantly in my prayers.  I will continue without ceasing in my prayers for ya'll.

For all the other requests, I will keep them in my prayers.  I know there are requests out there that have not been written.  God knows them all and he will answer.

I also pray for Natalee and the family daily.  May God bring peace and strength to them.

Sleuth, I wrote this as much for myself as I did for everyone else, for it is so easy for me to go back to this kind of behavior and have these kinds of feelings. I work hard to have peace in my life today, because in the past it was nothing but misery!

Nonesuche, you know I too have been praying without ceasing for your and your husband and am so happy that he is still standing and that you have hope to hold on to.

I will pray for all the monkeys who have made requests and for those who have special needs that we do not know about.

My Dearest monkey friends:
Thank you one and all for the prayers and sentiments. Id like to convey that aunt Fanny has passed on from her struggle with cancer.  She passed in peace and tranquility that she had not had for the past few years surrounded by those she loved. It was truly a blessing and I thank you all for I am sure your concerted prayers assisted in letting her pass on. May God bless and keep you all well and safe. I hope to sign on again next week once the funeral is over.   Sandy Leiva

Sandy-

Our sympathy is with you and your family at this time, and you will continue in our prayers. I am so very sorry she suffered at all and feel sure she has great peace now.

This is a poem that has been a comfort to me at times, I hope it may be of some small comfort for you in honor of your beloved Aunt Fanny.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

When my Dad died far too young in 1985, I had this poem framed and displayed next to his picture.  It really has helped me accept his death, and I *know* he is always with me.

Dear Sandy,

I am so sorry and so happy your Aunt Fanny is finally at peace.

I love the poem "Do not stand at my grave and weep" - it has helped me a lot with loss.

With love,
Louise

For my cousin Sharon... she has been struggling with a disease that isnt' curable... and unknown.  She had been living near family which helped, but not she has been moved to Texas where she is alone.

The disease is a form of vertigo... she is so dizzy all the time that she is unable to stand, shower, do anything we take for granted on her own.  She is the most kind person too... please pray for her.

Also for Kacky Lacky's family, Magnolia, South Ga Girl, JanFolkArt, KKail's grandson, and all those monkeys I am missing... monkeys with illnesses that we miss and don't see much of...

I'd like to pray for hardships Klaas and Lala have at this moment, I won't go into detail except that I'd like for us to pray for strength and resolution for both families.

As always, I would like to pray for Natalee's return to her family, for resolution and closure, and for justice.

I'd like to pray that Peaches continues to gather strength and success in her battle over cancer, and that she continues to remain NED and is healed forever.

I'd also ask beyond the many prayers for mr none, for prayer for our children, they are hurting as they move through this and at times fearful and confused. Son is alone and far away, and unable to open up to others about his pain.

I will pray for all monkeys and their hardships, as always.

NOTE: At the end of this thread, before the prayer chain takes place, I will make a list of all the needed prayers and post it here.
**************

Please pray for my friend Greg Jones, who is has been going back and forth from UCLA Westwood hospital for months due to his mysterious condition - hypersensitive vasculitis. The doctors have no clue and they are trying everything.

Please pray for the family of my friend LoLo's shrink, Sallye, who committed suicide over the weekend.

Please pray for clarity of mind for my daughter and her family.

Please pray for Israel, as well as Lebanon, Iraq and Iran. Also for Hezbollah and all extremist entities who want to take over the world.

Pray for peace in the world.

IMAGINE
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

For the family of my nephew who was killed in a car accident and also my niece who is having severe panic attacks due to her cousin's death.  Her dad and his dad are brothers and her mom and his mom are sisters, so it was a double whammy for her.

Thanks kind monkeys.
