I am so sorry to hear about the bleeding that is going on and that you have to undergo surgery for this. I will be praying for you for a complete & speedy recovery as well as peace & strength during this uncertain time. I will be praying for wisdom, guidance & directions for the Drs. as well as for the Lord to guide the surgeons hands.

I know I didn't get a chance to say Welcome Back to you when you came back as I haven't been able to lurk/read as much as I want to lately. It is so great to see you back posting again. I really enjoy your posts. Sending you lots of hugs!!  Smile

Wanda (aka Roo)

Would you all please say a little prayer for me?

I went for more tests at Mass Gen today and they discoverd another serious bleed and I am scheduled for more surgery next Friday. This one will again be IN the brain.

I am terrified. Crying or Very sad

I'm praying for you right now.

Ok.  I always do it right away so I don't forget and then I remember again later when I pray for the whole crazy mixed up world including those close to me and me.  I asked for faith and calm and trust and strength as well as a speedy recovery.  God bless you, Artcolley.  Put your faith and trust in Him.  For me, it helps to close my eyes and mentally "picture" God -- however you picture Him.  I've visualized myself walking with Jesus, listening to Him read the Bible to me, etc.  Whatever visual image comforts you.  Try it!  I find that when the mental and physical are more than I can take, it seems to work to calm and comfort me.

LIlPuma, you are very sweet.
Thank you so much!

Art: I'm praying for you right now and will continue to keep you in prayer! We all will! God works through Physicians all the time, hon, and I'm praying that He will give them skill and guidance for your absolute and easy success and recovery. {{{HUGS}}}

Louise, I haven't forgotten that little one, either!

Kimmy, Elaine, Roos: From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!

Oldfart, that was a beautiful prayer for all of the needs here. I've read it several times, and know it pleases God to have a glimpse into your tender heart, as well as comforts those here in need.

CBB, THere is so much I want to say to you regarding your situation, but I just can't seem to get it together in a coherent manner.
Suffice it to say, You are in my prayers and things will turn out fine for you.

THank you so much!

I too will say a prayer for you.  Mass General is a great hospital.  I send hugs to you.

THank you Ms.DarthVada!

Mass General is really wonderful, I agree.  I am amazed at the efficiencly there, not to mention the equipment they use!!!
TRaffic was a bit held up there today due to the supposed Bomb THing that Red posted about on the front page. I was pleasantly out of it, but the people were talking about it later in the afternoon. I guess it created havoc for people trying to get to the hospital .

It did indeed!  My husband was stuck down there for hours.  MGH was able to cure a serious infection my son had and almost lost his arm back in 98, something that we  were terrified to go through.  I've been there so many times, I can drive there without getting all stressed out.

Good luck on the 9th,  I'll say prayers for you.

Art,

I wanted to let you know that after I signed off last night I said a prayer for you.  You are a strong woman and I know everything will be fine.  By reading everyones comments it sounds like you will be in the best of care at the hospital that will be performing your surgery.  You're in my thoughts.

Thank God they were able to cure your son's infection. I swear, they are miracle workers!  I was also in awe of all the state of the art equipment they have!

Thank you for your good wishes and prayers!!!!

Dear Art Colley, I haven't been around much but I just checked in tonight and saw that you are having surgery next week.  I will keep you in my prayers that all will go well, that God will guide the surgeon's hand, and you will enjoy a quick recovery.

I am also asking for prayers for my daughter who unexpectedly lost her job today as a paralegal.  She is in shock and is devastated.  She had no idea this was coming and we are very worried about her.  Your prayers for help for her in getting through this and finding another job soon would be much appreciated.  TIA.

I've had ArtColley in my prayers.

CBB, also is there.

Tidycat, I know what your daughter must feel...just had that happen to me in August, 2005.  Have her in there, too.

We have a friend who found out this past week has a tumor in his lung and lymph involvement in the chest area.  He has an appt. 2/3 to find out the course of treatment.  Please add him to your prayers.  Thanks.

Forgive me...self-edit...wrong year...2005 should have been 2006.
