Please keep Nana's husband in your prayers

I do   not know when I will be able to get back on...they are transferring hubby to OHSU in Portland. Surgeon(one I know who is qualified) said it is critical, he is in danger of losing his leg...if not his life. You are my second family and lifeline, I will keep you posted. Lazydog1, maybe I'lll get to see those furbys of yours. My 2 daughters are on their way here, please keep the one in Indiana in prayer, she is scared. Thanks,
Mandy

I am praying right now for Nana29's husband. May God's healing hand be on him.  an angelic monkey

He answers before we ask! Wow! I am blown away by His Awesomeness! I have tried to post regularly in JSM thread...thank you so much all of you for the continued prayers.
K is still in OHSU, but they are confident he will be on his way home tomorrow! Looks like we have more recovery, but when I heard this morning that his white blood cell count finally hit hi normal, I almost jumped up and down!        Ok, maybe I really did! All I now is that when Doctors and Nurses use words like, "random, atypical, odd, weird, wow" etc. It is a God thing. That is all there is to it!

As the surgeon (who was prepped to do surgery on his leg)said, "You dodged a bullet"!

Off to bed. Tomorrow is full of work and getting things ready for my sweetie to come home!

I concede that while enduring trials in my life ... I do not alway see past my circumstances ... faith does waver and ... God at times seems so distant.  However ... in hindsight I do recognize that God has been there throughout and ... lessons learned afford me greater understanding in regards to my cries "Why God?".

Deuteronomy 31:8
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

FOOTPRINTS

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of His life.

This really bothered Him and He questioned the LORD about it. LORD you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.

The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

Sister, I love when you post your prayers.  I pray them often as your words are so sincere and eloquent.

Toly, you sense my prayers because we are not only on the same page . . . we are in the same Holy Book.  I love reading your posts as well.
When I pray here, I just close my eyes and His Spirit moves my thoughts and fingers.  To Him be all the glory for any comforting word I have ever written or said.

and all God's people said "Amen".
I often feel inadequate in prayer and all I cand do is just go back to how Jesus taught us to pray.  "Our Father, Who art in Heaven".
I often get distracted by trying to find the right words.  I have come to accept my limitations and often just pray in gratitude and adoration.   I know our Father knows our needs and I trust Him to care for each of us.
The only thing that keeps me going is the FACT that God loves me exactly as I am and not as I should be.
I get hung up in guilt and regret then I try to remember to throw my worries at the foot of the Cross.
My prayers of supplication are mostly for the Grace to Trust and Hope.
That is why I enjoy praying your prayers, Sister.   Thank you for being here.

Prayer request for dearest friend.
He is losing his long time friend to cancer.  The fight is nearly over.
Lord, wrap your arms around your suffering children.  Let them feel the soft breath of your love.  Assure them of your faithfulness and love.  Let them hear your heartbeat as you hold them.
I ask this in confidence and with trust that your will be done in them and in me.
Amen.

Thank you so much for prayer for Kevin.
Today's report:  He had a horrible reaction to one of the drugs they gave him in the hospital.
He may be able to go home tonight (sans hospice).
It was a bad scare.  We know he is very ill, but not so near death as it seemed.  He will have a radiation tx today to alleviate some of his pain.
Christmas Miracle.

Thank you, Father!

Lord~please blessing the missing, murdered, abused and neglected and their families, especially during this time of year.  Please continue to heal the Monkey Family who may be in pain both physically or emotionally, continue to bless them and help them rise up for the cause that they believe in of helping others.

Monkeys ~a selfish request for prayers for continued strength for myself and my wonderful son to deal with our new path in life of living and caring for my mom and wisdom to see the good in situations where the seem to be none.

Blessings & Peace,
Lovin
