Absolutely I'll say a special prayer for you tonight ~ for some reason, struggles seem to be harder on Sundays.  Sending you a hug and good thoughts and prayers.

Oh dear. I have been out of the monkey loop since Tuesday, and return to find so much sad and ominous news here. My thoughts and prayers to all of you who are struggling with loss, and fear of the unknown ...

this request comes from a dear friend with two younger brothers serving...

just as we pray for each other, let's not forget those serving ...

According to the weather reports, it is my understanding that it is 122 degrees in Iraq right now - and the low will be 111!  Our troops need our prayers for strength,  endurance, and safety. If it be God's will, give these men and women the strength they need to prevail.

I am sorry but I am not breaking this one.....Let us pray.

Prayer chain for our Military...please don't break it...please send this on after a short prayer.  Pray for our soldiers...

Prayer
"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.  Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need.  I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  Amen."

Prayer Request: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world.

of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine & others deployed in harm's way, Prayer is the very best!!!!!

I have a prayer request for my step mother (SM).  She is 88 and apparently fell a few times, and caused a bleed in her brain.  SHe never told my Dad.  He noticed her acting funny, eating foods she hates, repeating the same thing within seconds of each other, dragging her foot.  He took her to her DR who didn't do anything.  It got worse.  Finally my Father took her to the ER where they found a big collection of blood in the brain.  She could have died from the pressure of the blood pushing down on the brain.  ANyway she had emergency surgery to drain the blood, over 50 staples in her scalp.  She has been in the hospital for 5 days now and will be going to an intermediate care facility before she can go home.  Luckily it's not too far from my Dad's house.  Poor lady.  Her name is Helen if you would please say a prayer for her to recover fully and make it home.  Thank you!

SunFreak - I will certainly add your step-mother to my prayer list. Although 88 sounds old to most people, these days people who are that age can be extremely active. She might have many productive years ahead, so I definitely hope she recovers quickly and completely.
