Prayer request I just recieved via email from Bama Lady (I'm pretty sure she is not a member of SM):

Bama Lady wrote:

Friday afternoon late: My daughter was tracked down on her cell phone by the
hospital doctors and told by them that the MRI they ran trying to see why
she was still having medical problems, headaches, dizziness, etc. was
positive . . .

showing she has M.S. (multiple sclerosis).
There is no cure.
She is 28 as of two weeks ago with three small chidren under 7.

Then:

Early Sat morning while I was still asleep - my mother while making her
breakfast dropped dead.
I heard the strange noise like a bowling ball dropping off a table and
almost turned over to go back to sleep but decided to go see what the noise
was and found her.
She was lying flat on the floor just like someone standing in the military
at attention - a very odd position, arms at her side stiff.
(that facial look: eyes wide open not blinking at - all not seeing at all, -
mouth wide open not breathing at all - I can not get it out of my mind awake
or asleep).

I did CPR, got her breathing after about 3 - 4 minutes, turned her on her
side still while she was unconscious, ran for my cell phone calling 911 on
it and ran for the land line calling my kids to get over to my house fast
waking them up too while talking with 911 at the same time.

By the time they were at the house she was waking up, confused and dizzy.
She was taken by ambulance to our nearest hospital - the county one that has
the good cardiac section. The ER doc sent her to have a CT of her head, and
before she was back from xray the ER doc was in the room telling me it was
an emergency - she had to be transferred immediately to Bham to a
neuro-surgeon for an active brain bleed.

I did not know until then that doctors can refuse patients being
transferred. Two hospitals refused to accept her because apparently of her
age, not wanting the responsibility. The county hospital had no neurologist
or neuro anything so she had to be transferred. We finally got one to accept
her, transferred her by ambulance to Bham and she is in intensive care.

She is now stable, has 24-7 nurse in the room, can not get up at all, and
except for short term memory is normal again.

She was more active and able to get around better than I was before this.
Her parents died at 88 each, and her sisters lived to be 98 to 106. She
always said she was so healthy from growing up in the Tennessee mountains
walking to school 2 miles through all the weather, the mountain living, air,
and mountin spring water.

Problem now is - they say it is the chicken or the egg - which came first?
Did the brain bleed cause her to drop dead?
Did the fall when it happen cause her to stop her heart or breathing?
OR
Did her heart stop beating first?
OR did she throw a blood clot which stopped her breathing first?
Either of them could have caused the fall which hitting her head caused the
brain bleed?

They are checking out her lungs, brain and heart to try to see which thing
happened first so to know how to treat her. They are worried it might happen
again when she is upright or walking.
She does not remember what happened so she cant help know which came first.

Also meanwhile we are having to cope with the brain bleeding, hoping it
stops on its own,
or we face brain surgery to stop it or let her die if the bleed does not
stop on its own.

Please pray for my whole family.

Thank you.

Katysmom, saying a prayer for you regarding your Dr visit tomorrow. I know you're pretty anxious about it. I hope they can get to the root of the problem and that it's nothing serious. Try to remain as calm as you can and imagine us all there with you holding your hand.

Bamalady, I believe we spoke on the phone last October. I am so sorry to hear that your daughter has been diagnosed with MS. I don't know much about MS, but I do know several people who have it. Please let her know there are many who are praying for her. And I know you must be haunted by that image of your mother lying there on the floor like that. Thank goodness you got out of bed when you did and were able to perform CPR. I pray that your mother is able to recover from this. I am praying for your entire family. HUGS!!!

Mrs Red.  Keeping your friend's daughter in my prayers.  What a traumatic experience for her.  She will need so much support from her family and friends even without admitting to herself she needs them.  There are no answers for why these things happen - all we can do is ask for help for her.

Katysmom All your monkey friends will be with you in thought and prayer, asking for calm to surround you and a positive outcome from the tests.

Bama Lady Adding you and your family to my prayer lists.  That is such a terrible experience for both you and your mother and I hope you can get some peace of mind within your thoughts.  Remember, you did save her life and now she has the opportunity to be diagnosed and treated appropriately.  Please keep us posted as to her progress.
Hugs also for your daughter.  I have friends with MS and the prognosis can vary so much person to person.  There are monkeys who are more experienced with MS than I am and I am sure you and your daughter could get great support from them if needed.

Keeping all those in need in my prayers. Mrs. Red, for your friend's daughter, BamaLady, for you your daughter and Mother
Katsmom......I'm praying for your good health

Could I please add myself to those in need of prayer? I'm having a really difficult time around work and there are a multitude of serious pitfalls all around me. If I navigate the road I must walk without a stumble, it will only be with God's guidance and protection. I'm scared, but have faith and I'm holding on to His hand tightly. I'd really appreciate your prayers. God Bless.

I would like to ask you to please pray for me on Monday morning.  I will be going in for a heart test so they can figure out what has been causing my chest pains.  I have to be there at 9:00 am and they told me it should take 4 hours.
Thank you
Peg

You will be in my prayers Katysmom.

Thank you, it means a lot to me

Mrs. red  your friends daughter is in my prayers.  I pray that she can recover from this.

Katysmom I'm praying that things go well tomm.  Please keep us informed.

Bama Lady your family is in my prayers.

God Bless you, and God Bless all my monkey friends.

I had the procedure done and I really don't want to go through that again.  I am deathly afraid of needles, so my dr. had me take a valium ahead of time.  It helped.  They brought me right to the point of having a heart attach and I thought it was strange because the pain was not even close to the pains I've been having at home.  What has me worried is that the nurse that questioned me ahead of time told me that my dr would get a report within 1-2 weeks.  When it was all over, the cardiologist told me that he would have the report to my dr. by 5 pm that afternoon.  Shocked  Now I don't know what to think.

To Sans, Nones, Mrs. Red, and anyone else I may of missed, thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes.  I really appreciate the monkeys since, well you know what happened between my son and I.  Besides my husband, sometimes I feel that you are the only ones in my life that truely care.
I'm really tired right now and am going to go to bed.  I feel like I could sleep all day tomorrow.
Again....THANK YOU
