Many of you long time monkeys remember Kaitlin Aydell.Kaitlin was the daughter of a very good friend of mine and like one of my own.Kaitlin was senselessly murdered last year and her murder trial is set to begin on February 25th.Please pray for Kaitlin's mother Danette, as this will be a very emotional time for her.Please pray for Kaitlins friends,neighbors and relatives who will be called upon to testify and those who will have to relive this nightmare .Pray for a just and speedy trial and that justice be served so this monster can be put away where will he will never again have the opportunity to harm an innocent child.

I am bringing forward the candle link so that others might light a candle for Kaitlin right now. I pray that justice is served in her case and that the man responsible will be put away so that he can never get to another innocent child again. I so remember the night Kaitlin went missing and it has haunted me ever since. Thank you for being such a strong and supportive friend to Danette, she has needed you so!

Mishy... it has been a nightmare for us all and we know what happened to Kaitlin are were able to bring her home and put her to rest. I cannot imagine the pain that Natalee's friends and family have to live with.
Tomorrow is the opening day for the trial... I will keep everyone posted!

Magnolia. Louisiana does have the death penalty, but last we knew he was inelligable.Seems you have to fit 2 out of 5 criteria in the state of La. to qualify and it is uncertain as to whether or not they will seek it...

All these families with heartache is hard to endure some days, but it is our duty as human beings to continue the good fight.  The only enemy evil has in this world are those willing to fight for what is right...that is a pretty big enemy..but it often seems we are small in number. I used to think that too until I found this place...now I am not so sure evil isn't in for the fight of its life.   Praise God!

You are and will remain in my prayers...I have found that when God seems so far away he's really quite close.  He tells us to cast our worry and fear upon him...allow him to work in your life...he is faithful.

May God show His power and mercy in your life and may you feel His presence at your darkest hours and His touch when you are afraid.

As you recall, my 88 year old aunt had a pretty large stroke recently.  She made it out of the hospital and into a rehab facility but she can't swallow.  The staff has done all the appropriate assessments and determined she will neither speak nor swallow again.   So they pulled her feeding tube.  Well, actually, I think my aunt pulled it.....several times.  My dad told them that she was trying to tell them something.  DUH!  That was last Wed.  My dad can't believe my aunt is still hanging in there.  I guess she hasn't been fully awake for a couple days, just opens her eyes once in a while.  It's just sad. 

My dad is the baby of the family.  He has now outlived his two siblings, both parents and a stepmother.  He's a tough ole bird.

Please pray that Aunt Pauline has a peaceful trip Home.  I know that's what she would want.
