JSM ~ How was your day our beloved little chickie?

Well after waking up at 3 am throwing up from nerves I managed to get to work. FedEx delivered the package at 7:24 am, I call the DPS office and find out that they won't have the system updated until this afternoon. So my guy can't work without the license, but was totally cool about it. He finally got mad cause I kept saying I was sorry. I got a guy on the phone in Austin named Peter that found the application and had it processed within 30 minutes. So everything is cool today. Lord knows what will happen tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers Monkeys. I don't think I could've made it without your prayers. Needless to say, I took 1/2 a xanax while I was at work. Ssshhh it's our secret! 

Glad everything is ok, JSM.

Yeah me too. One of my bosses asked about what happened I told her I was throwing up and I started crying and she did too.

Here is a little story to make you feel better.  We had a young college girl working in our office a couple of years ago.  She had worked there part time since high school and my boss thought she could do no wrong, ever.  Well, we are a well drilling company and builders would fax us an order for a well along with a plot plan showing where they wanted the well.  So she did all the paperwork and put it in the to do box.  A couple of months later my boss sends a crew and they drill a well.  Cost about $3,000-$3,500. 

The kicker?  They didn't order a well, they were ordering irrigation work and faxed to us by mistake.  The minute I looked at it I saw what they were ordering but....it was a tad too late.  The homeowner refused to pay for it, even for cost, so my boss ate the loss.  No one said boo to her about it.  If it had been me I would have been drop kicked across the parking lot. 

We ALL make mistakes, only God is perfect.

I am adding your daughter and granddaughter to my prayers, and will ask that you say a few for mine.  I have watched for some time as my daughter's choices have adversely affected her life, and that of her 6 yr old.  I was hesitant to intervene, and as long as she had custody, her sister and I had access to the child, and could watch out for her.  Within the last two months, the situation has taken a dangerous turn.  Her sister and I finally decided that my granddaughter had suffered enough of her mother's poor choices.  We were able to get an emergency protection order, and have temporary custody pending appointment of a guardian ad litem who will investigate and make recommendations to the judge on long term custody. While it is not a route I wanted to take, it was necessary to protect my granddaughter. My daughter is 33, is an adult, and has a right to make her own choices....and to accept whatever consequences those choices bring.  Her daughter is only 6.  She has no choices and should not have to suffer because her mother's choices.  I love them both and do not see it as choosing one over the other ... but the innocent children have to be protected. 

Please keep our family in your prayers as I will yours.  I hope your situation has not and does not become as dire as ours did.

Oh Lexie, I am so sorry to hear you are having to go through this.  How awful.  But I also am glad to hear you are so strong for your granddaughter, and that you are protecting her in spite of how very difficult it is.  My prayers are with you, and I will pray for your daughter too.  I pray that she will see what she is doing to her precious child, and all the people that love her.  I pray that she will appreciate what you are doing for her child, and change her ways.  I hope you have many people around you for support.  Yes, the children must be protected at all costs.

The power of prayer is working in my situation.  Everything is looking like it will resolve in a positive way.  Mother and daughter have been enjoying each other and I can see the happiness on my granddaughters face!  And I can see the bond her mother has with her is being renewed and strengthened.  I can't thank you all enough for the wonderful prayers, thoughts and posts.  God Bless you all and your loved ones.

Blonde, I have been praying for you and your mother too.  I am so glad to hear she is doing better.  Take care of yourself, she needs you and I don't want to see you run yourself down with worry.  Just keep praying and loving her, and trust that God is healing her. 

I am sorry I don't remember who posted about the friends son who has the tumor.  I will keep him in my prayers also.  I so hate to hear of a child being ill like this.  It makes me so sad and heartbroken.  I just have faith the Lord will take care of everything the way He has planned.  I know there are angels around him, and I pray they will be with him and make sure he does not suffer.

JSM, I hope you will be able to calm yourself and put everything in God's hands.  Hate to see you making yourself sick over this.  You are in my prayers.

To anyone and everyone I may have missed, I pray all trouble, illness, worry, and loss will be a little easier to bear knowing we are all thinking of you and praying for you.

Blonde, I hope your Mother continues to improve and with a daughter like you she's lucky, I know she realizes this as she is the one that raised you and gave you her strenghth and goodness, I will pray for her health!!!
  My Mother is 76 years old and still acts like she is 50, but I know the day will come when I will have to be there for her like you are for your Mother now and I hope I will make her proud!!!!    God Bless !!!!!!!!!

I just don't understand if God wants her why is he just not taking her, instead of making her suffer like this.
This is just not fair my Mom is an Angel, she  has never hurt anyone at anytime in her life.
I hate to see her so lost as I did today,
I just can't take it.

So sorry to hear this.  If your mom is on the ventilator, they can make her very comfortable.  She does not need to suffer.  She may not be alert, but she will not be in pain.  She may need the time to rest.  Prayers.

Blonde, I was on life support following my car wreck.  Even though I fought it, I dont rememer any thing about it or the month that followed.  I I hope that if it is your Moms time to go, she will go softly.  I pray for you too.

Oh Blonde I'm Crying with You I lost My Mom in 2005 and it is Very Hard ...I Also wanted to say that sometimes People will hold on if there is Someone that They would like to see...So if You can think of Anyone that has not been to visit Her please get Them there to see Her..In My Dad's case it was My Mom and All He wanted was to ask Her for forgiveness before He left... Once My Mom got there and talked to Him He was at Peace...
