Reno Teenager Has Gone Missing, Foul Play Suspected

A Reno teen has gone missing in Winnemucca, and authorities hope you can help find him.

Justin Alan Sharp was last seen in Winnemucca on August 29.  Sharp is described at being 6'3'' tall and 180 pounds.  He has sandy-blond hair and hazel eyes. 

He was last seen wearing a light blue hat; a dark blue bandana; dark blue, short sleeved, button up shirt; dark blue shorts; and black, slip-on shoes.

Sharp has numerous tattoos, including praying hands and the name "Tucker" on his left arm, and the words "Lil' Bear" and the name "Alan" on his right arm.  He has a tattoo of a man kneeling and praying on his chest.

Sharp may have been last seen in a gray colored 1994 Chevy Blazer with a broken window.

Winnemucca Police have received reports that indicate foul play may be involved.

Anyone who may have seen Sharp or has any information is encouraged to contact Detective Mike Pardovich at the Winnemucca Police Department at 775-623-6396 or 775-623-6429.

Missing Teen Justin Sharp Found Dead in Winnemucca

A teen that went missing in Winnemucca has been found dead from gunshot wounds.

Justin Alan Sharp was last seen in Winnemucca on August 29th. Sharp was last seen in a gray colored 1994 Chevy Blazer with a broken window.
News 4 spoke with the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office and they indicate foul play may be involved.

Anyone who may have seen Sharp or has any information is encouraged to contact the Winnemucca Police Department at 775-623-6396 or 775-623-6429.

Police Seeking Suspect in Winnemucca Murder

Further investigation by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office resulted in information being obtained that resulted in arrest warrants being issued for Timothy Contreras and Ray Wharff.

Suspect Wharff was located at his residence and arrested by officers from the Winnemucca Police Department on the Felony warrant for Accessory to Commit Murder. Wharff is currently being held in the Humboldt County Detention Center. His bail is set at $500,000.

Timothy Ryan Contreras is being sought on the Murder warrant out of Union Township Justice Court. He is to be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

If any persons in the community have information as to the whereabouts of Contreras, they are encouraged to contact the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office at (775) 623-6429 or Secret Witness at (775) 623-6969.
