Are you giving the dog PLENTY of Omega Fatty Acids?  Linatone is a good vet brand or Fish Oil Capsules.  Reduces shedding and dander tremendously.  I highly recommend doing this if you are not already, very good for the dog in other ways as well.

Just checking in to see if anyone had posted this yet.  Some guy on instead of Nancy Grace covering the story.  Haven't given any details.  Only that she has been located.  So still looking for that person of interest.  Prayers have been answered.
