I begged her to come back a couple weeks ago when she was leaving the board for good and I am starting to regret it!

Maybe if she feels people deserve to be captured by enemies and that step parents aren't "real" parents she should go don her pinnafore and sign on to the refugees.

Sounds to me like her brand of humor would be welcome there.


Mermaid, I am so sorry! I am not a step-parent, but I am the mother of a fourteen year old who was adopted as an infant and it always amazes me when people ask me if I know who his "real parents" are....
Duh, what am I , the babysitter? I think not and peolpe who think that you have to be a biological parent to love a child are just the kind of people I would rather not know.

It would be a very sad day indeed to see you leave this board, as well as Thirdstrike. Please reconsider. I don't usually get in to the trying to conjole a disgruntled poster to stay, but this is more than just that, your feelings have been hurt and I for one am so very sorry..... Sad  Crying or Very sad
