Next week starts the playoffs and hopefully my Yankees will win the wildcard and make it in.

Let's keep up with the games as they go along.

SAN I think your Yankees are already there!!!

Didn't expect to see my Tribe there this season, so am pleasantly surprised.  DD was at the clincher on Sunday while poor Mum had to settle for watching it on TV.  Glad she got to experience it.

Does anyone know how the teams are decided for the playoffs?  Read that the team with the best record picks and also the start date.  Seems that if it was the Indians they would choose between Boston and NY.  Just wondering why they wouldn't pick LA?  TIA

Go Braves!!!!
They're 2 1/2 games back. I'm keepin' the faith.

I wish the Marlins had a chance. I'd love to see Dontrelle Willis pitch in post season play.

D-backs should be able to hold on. Pretty close at the end!

They are an exciting team to watch, with all that young talent.

Well then, we should be pulling for the D-backs tonight and a lose by Colorado and the Padres.

You've got it! I like the D-backs a lot.

The Braves are losing to the Phillies 5-2 in the 8th with a runner on base right now. Sad
We need a grand slam! Or some kind of spoiler action by Mark Teixeira...

Congratulations to your Yankees, SAN!!!

If anyone is interested - on MLB.com there is an article... Sorting out the scenarios... which goes into the postseason tiebreaker possibilities, to be updated daily.

Well the D-backs probably won today they were up 8-0 in the ninth. Then three hard games in Colorado to finish.

Seems the Red Sox and Indians don't want it, but those Yankees do!

DD says our closer is falling apart.  The Tribe says no. Sad

NL is hot, going to be a fun weekend for baseball!

Going to be a nail biter for the D-backs! Colorado is playing great. Just need one out of three to make it to the playoffs.

I guess the Monkeys are surprised I am a Yankee fan and have been since the Mantle days. My dad played for the old St Louis Browns before they moved to Baltimore and changed names. Funny thing he was always a Dodger fan. I still have a Brooklyn Dodger uniform he bought me as a kid.

Hope no one spanks the Yankees!

D-backs won there in the post season playoffs. Just where, we won't know until the last day. BOC I went to a few of those World Series games in 2001 D-backs vs Yankee's

Had one eye on your score last night, Kiwi!  Congratulations!

The other eye was on our closer, while holding breath!!!

Have to go check out mlb.com, heard we have a date with those Yankees next week!
