I gotta tell ya.  When my daughter was two, she had naturally curly brown
hair and her Grandmother taught her that song that Baby Borg does.  It was
adorable.  She'd sing, " I love you, poo, poo, di, do, POOP!"

Everytime I see your avatar it reminds me of her.  She's nineteen now and
just as sassy!

Patti? Let me give you a link I found with LOADS of animations. It's in Dutch (can you believe it?) but "Halloween" is spelled the same. Browsing there can give you an idea, or maybe you can find something you'd really like. Just an option.

I'm sure I could do that. Do you have the original 'lil monkey? My computer crashed a while back and I've lost all my originals.  If so, just post it and I'll get to work.

Hi LouiseVargas! Thanks for the update.

I had an electric surge and the TV exploded on 9/29/92.. The sparks flew out and started a sofa on fire. The toxins from the plastic, foam, before the smoke, killed my family.. 3 cats and a dog as they slept. I would have been killed but I was taking a night class. Moved back in just as the '94 earthquake hit.

Both instances I was insured by State Farm... took years with them and it was the beginning the PTSD... can't watch TV now. Never ever caught up to as before. You need lots of support... emotional and physical.

Like in Katrina.. a disaster can make you go from maybe middle class to poverty or poverty to more.

Think sometimes, you can have better luck in Vega than with insurance companies.

Klaas, thank you for the fire pictures. Very clear. If the winds are going the right way, the smoke from Malibu and soot can reach Santa Monica and West LA. It doesn't bother me to see your pictures, but TV news is hard to watch.

I see there is a new post under the Donna Jou thread about her parents being on the Dr. Phil show... think it said this Wed.

Is there any EASY way to switch the background from black to white

We got a reverse call from 911 telling us to prepare in the event we would need to evacuate. Can't sleep now. They said it could happen around 1 am or so. This is frightening.

No fires near us but I'm still unable to sleep.  The brush is so dry in our area.  Are you close to the Irvine fire?

I am close to the Bandy canyon/San Pasqual Valley that the mayor of San Diego refered to tonight. They did the reverse 911 to notify us to prepare for evacuation and to stand by. We are packed and ready to go if we need to. The road from Bandy canyon was soldid cars for a while. We live over that hill.
