I ate something at home together with my brother Satish and after that I vacuumed the carpet on the inside of my car. (with Satish is meant the suspect S.S. KALPOE; comment reporting officers). My sister Angie was already asleep. My mother was not home, she was working. The man with whom my mother is married, was also at work. While we ate I had asked Satish if he wanted to come to "Carlos & Charlies". After I finished vacuuming I went and took a shower. A little before 0.00 hours I drove to Joran's house. Joran lives on the address Montanja 19.

To your question where I park my car at home, I can state the following, at home I park my car with the backside of the car under a tree.

To your question as to how it is possible that my car looks so clean, I can state the following. My car according to me is not clean because if you look at the outside you can see there is mud on the bottom of the car.

To your question whether I can remember th e day when I was summoned to the police station at Bubali, I can say the following. Yes I remember that day.

You are telling to me that my car looked very clean on that day. About that I can state the following, I had vacuumed my car the previous day.

To your question as to why I had vacuumed my car the previous day, I can state the following. I thought my car was dirty on the inside there was a lot of sand.

To your question as to how dirty my car was on the inside, I can state the following. There was a lot of sand inside of the car.

To your question as to when I had been to the beach for the last time, I can state the following. I had been to a party on the beach about two or three weeks ago.

To your question as to where the sand came from the day in question that I vacuumed the car, I can state the following. The sand came from Joran, because he had almost fallen into the water and after th at he had sat down in my car with sand on his shorts and on his legs.To your question as to why I vacuumed the car on that Sunday in question, I can state the following. I thought it was dirty.

To your question as to why, after having driven in the car all that time, I chose that particular Sunday to vacuum my car, I can state the following. It is my car, and I can vacuum it when I want. I clean my car when I want to clean it.

Was Joran wearing shorts when he met Natalee?  I may be thinking of the picture of him dancing at C&C in jeans, but I thought he was wearing pants.  Surely one of you know.  You guys know all this stuff.

LilPuma - good catch!  Joran was wearing shorts at the casino but he's claimed he was wearing pants I think later at night at CnC.  This statement indicates he was wearing shorts at CnC.

The Hague- PVDA member John Leerdam has asked States Secretary Bijleveld from Royal Relations and Internal Affairs some questions about the disappearance of the American student Natalee Holloway on Aruba. Reason is the (alleged- see questions-) request of some members of American House of Chambers to hold a hearing about the role the FBI played in the disappearance case.
 
According to old-police chief Gerold Dompig FBI agents have hindered the investigation, there would have been non cooperation and even threats made. Leerdam has asked Blijeveld for clarification about this.

The questions Leerdam wants an answer to are:

1-Are you aware of a message that some members of the American House of Delegates have appealed for a hearing about the role of the FBI in the investigation of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway? (see attachment 1,).

2-Is it known if this hearing will take place and if so if old police chief Gerold Dompig also will be present at the hearing?

3- What is the current state of the investigation with regard to the second opinion that the KLPD is carrying out on the investigation of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway?

4-when can we expect results from this investigation?

About the third and fourth question, if Leerdam had paid attention (as he seems to take an interest in the case) he would/could have known what the current state of the investigation was, and when results are to be expected.

But it is nice to see at least some politician here interested in the case, and maybe the answers will be a little more lengthy then the diplomatic ones the OM is giving (trying to juridically tie things etc.), who knows.

About him bringing up the allegations made by Dompig (intimidation and threads made by FBI etc.) I wonder if there will be asked any clarification about that.

Somebody please tell me this is talking about the Dutch or Aruban Secretary of State and not our Dr. Condi Rice!  What an insult to her position if it is Dr. Rice.
